Westerham Golf Club

Staff was really welcoming, course in great condition considering the amount of weather!

I hadn't played Westerham for about 2 years, and wow I couldn't believe the difference! The course before was overgrown but the tree work to open the course up has transformed it. The condition for the time of year was fantastic, greens like my course in the summer. The refurbished bar was great, and so was the friendly barmaid!

Great day out enjoyed by all, course was in excellent condition especially given the recent rainfall.

Playable for all the golfers in my group which varied from 4 to 23.

Staff were very friendly on the day and made good use of the practice facilities that were available!

Can't wait to play it in warmer weather.

Haven't played Westerham for a couple of years but the changes they have made improve the views and playability of the course considerably. Considering the recent weather the course was in great condition and the greens putted really well. The pro was telling us they are installing Toptracer on the range in the near future as well. We will be back again soon to play in the better weather.

Played here a few times before although only in the summer.

Was very pleasantly surprised by how good the course condition was.

Green were generally really good and fairways great for this time of the year.

As with all courses, it much better in the summer but at £32.99 through GN this was true bargain.

Would highly recommend to play here.

Met friends for a Christmas brekkie and 18 holes. The brekkie was superb, the course in amazing condition, the staff were very friendly throughout the club. Particular mention to Megan Roberts in the pro shop who was very helpful advising us about the course before we played and then took the trouble to ask how the round went when we finished and went to the bar

The course itself is absolutely stunning. Unfortunately I have read reviews before about the pace of play being horrendous and Unfortunately this was true, only managed to play 15 holes taking almost 5 hours to that point.

Played as a 3 ball, had an excellent time.

Course was in great condition and challenging but not too difficult.

Whilst the course is great, teeing off at 11.12am we should have finished in the light. We were stuck behind a society who were very slow round the course. The last 3/4 holes, they were playing with 6 players teeing off. We rang the clubhouse and they said nothing they can do, even spoke to the society and they didn’t care. We ended up playing in the dark and taking 5hrs for the round. Love the course, but not the ending due to the course management of the club. Even members and other paying playing were getting annoyed.

Recommend the course, but beware of slow pace.

The course is great and well maintained but we were rushed by the other groups behind us to catch daylight and infront us but was a bottleneck with slow play so we ended up missing two holes so we can finish on time after 4.5hrs of play!

One of the best courses I have played in England. However the pace of play was very slow. Waiting for a while on every single T box. But besides that a fantastic round

Although I enjoyed the course, the pace of play pretty much ruined what should have been a good experience. I can't imagine what it's like to be a member here if this is what it's like on a typical day. I fully understand that revenue is vital but PLEASE put some marshals out to at least try and keep things moving! We waited on every shot (some for 5 minutes) and the proximity of greens to tees on some holes meant lots of people hanging around in dangerous areas.

We teed off behind a ladies competition and the play was painfully slow in extremely hot conditions. 5 and half hours is unacceptable and spoit our day. Very poor etiquette ahead of us. A Marshall was on the course but made no effort to speed things up. A 2 ball behind us (very good golfers) were extremely angry and I doubt the Club will see them again. My suggestion is you should leave at least an hour from the last group teeing off before booking in other golfers. You should also have started us on the 9th tee. Even when we got back to the clubhouse the kitchen was closed due to the competition. We were not pre-warned at any point. A wasted £55 each.
