Westerham Golf Club

Although I enjoyed the course, the pace of play pretty much ruined what should have been a good experience. I can't imagine what it's like to be a member here if this is what it's like on a typical day. I fully understand that revenue is vital but PLEASE put some marshals out to at least try and keep things moving! We waited on every shot (some for 5 minutes) and the proximity of greens to tees on some holes meant lots of people hanging around in dangerous areas.

We teed off behind a ladies competition and the play was painfully slow in extremely hot conditions. 5 and half hours is unacceptable and spoit our day. Very poor etiquette ahead of us. A Marshall was on the course but made no effort to speed things up. A 2 ball behind us (very good golfers) were extremely angry and I doubt the Club will see them again. My suggestion is you should leave at least an hour from the last group teeing off before booking in other golfers. You should also have started us on the 9th tee. Even when we got back to the clubhouse the kitchen was closed due to the competition. We were not pre-warned at any point. A wasted £55 each.

Played the 18 holes some fairways are a bit tight greens in good condition but hard to read most probably due to weather but overall we had a great round and will be going back ps mind the snake sign might put you off if you’re in the rough so take plenty of balls 😂

Great golf course but need to do better with facilities at the price point.

Il corso è molto bello e anche difficoltoso, specialmente se non ci hai mai giocato, con carrello a mano anche faticoso. Purtroppo avevano i green in manutenzione e io non lo sapevo.

…and at first glance it looks spectacular. On another day this I am sure is a belter of a course. However the greens had recently been treated, thus in poor condition, and the clientele left a lot to be desired. I think (or hope) we caught this place on a bad day….the pace of play on the back nine in particular was ridiculous, mainly because there seemed to be people who had no idea how to keep the pace of play up to what was required.

Took my brother here to celebrate his 40th birthday. Course is beautiful and in lovely condition justifying the green fees. Staff very friendly and helpful, was a Saturday morning so busy, we had a slower group in front of us but it just meant we took our time a little more. Would thoroughly recommend the course.

Only criticism is that some holes could do with a system so that the players know when it is save to drive. One of our group nearly got hit in the head by s long drive from the group behind. The drive was blnd, and the player was very apologetic, so not a big issue,.

Very challenging course for my handicap but extremely worth a visit

Greens were challenging to and the course well maintained certainly will be going back

Played a really enjoyable round here with a friend. Great layout and course facilities were super! Cant wait to play again!

I was a member 15 years ago but on my recent visit I found the course has had too many trees removed, which may have some on course benefits but has overall taken away the enjoyment and challenge of playing this course. I'm sad to say I doubt if I will be returning .

Unacceptably slow pace of play. Queues on every tee.

Pro shop staff great, advised me when a gap was to get out a little earlier if I wanted.

Really well kept course in v good condition, fast greens that are true.

Friendly clubhouse with tasty sausage rolls and sandwiches as well as a good drinks selection.

Driving range pitching practice and chipping and putting greens to warm up.

All round an excellent golf club.
