Alhambra Municipal Golf Course

I was impressed with the condition of the greens. It is truly pro-level condition that required you to read carefully.

Getting a later tee time was worrisome, I thought I would have to wait awhile at each hole to tee off. But it wasn't as bad , we completed our game in a regular pace of play and had a fun day of golf.

The course was in excellent shape. The greens and tee boxes were perfect. There were a few soggy spots but all good considering all of the rain.

The course offered some challenging aspects such as water hazards, gullies, hills and long grass for the rough. Some of the fairways were a little narrow, making it challenging for the average golfer.

Despite all the rain, course in good shape.

Bunkers could use a bit more sand, but otherwise no issues.

Divets on the greens continue to be an issue. Can no one fix their friggin divets?? Let alone in the fairway, dumping a little dirt from the canister -- yes, that plastic thing on the side of the cart-- on your divets goes a long way. Don't be a tool, use your divet tool on the greens!!

Course, considering all the rain wee've had, was in really good shape.

I still wish somehow the golfers would fix their darn divots on the greens

Fairways in really good shape..as are the teeboxes.

This is a course where you learn to play. If you have an established handicap and you play often, you’ll be very frustrated with the lack of maintenance. NO ONE fixes their divots on the greens, there are guys who drive onto the T box: not next to it , not on the path next to the T box, but ON THE T BOX. If I say something, I would likely get into a fight. Why the golf course, doesn’t enforce this is beyond me! It can be a great little course, but there’s no golf etiquette. NONE. Its sad. I won’t come back. I won’t recommend this place unless you just don’t care about your golf course and experience.
