Black Oak Golf Course

If you dont have time to play 18 this is a great course to get a quick 9 holes in while still feeling like you played a regulation length course. Love how every hole has some kind of a dogleg and there is only 1 short par 3.

Black Oak Golf Course in Auburn is the best golf value I have found to date. The course is challenging, the views are spectacular, the staff is friendly and knowledgeable, and the price just can't be beat! The beautifully laid out course is in great shape and gives golfers of all abilities a wonderful golf experience. Play it once, and you will be hooked and coming back on a regular basis. This is a must play course!

I think if you only have time for nine this is the best place to play and the price is great. A true value!

My first time playing Black Oak and it won't be my last!

This nine hole regulation course is a real hidden gem...it's very walkable (when was the last time you could say that?); tee boxes and fairways in great condition; greens were challenging and in near perfect condition. Position off the tee for some par 4's required, as well as 3rd shot into the par 5's.

The scenery is beautiful and the staff is so congenial that you feel like you've taken a step back in time. I'm used to playing courses that are three times the price, that are near impossible to walk, and have nowhere near this high level of customer service.

When you stand on the first tee, just take a deep breath, relax, and enjoy your day:=)

Second time on the course. Had a great time with the others in our group. The course is an easy walk but does have some elevation changes so bring your pull cart. Fast greens and well groomed fairways. Was able to score a 44 & 45. Good day.

Black Oak Golf Coarse is a nice coarse. The tee boxes need a little work but the fairways and greens seem good. I did play ther after some maintenance was done to the greens so they were a little slow. The views were great. Quit a few good dog legs and they played well with my swing. I walked the coarse with a good friend of mine and a twosome that joined us on the 1st tee. Didnt have to wait to long to tee of for most of the coarse. We only played 9 holes and it took 3 hrs exactly. If you play 18 its just the 9 twice. Overall it was a great coarse for the price. Also its a regulation coarse par 36. So 2 par 5s, 2 par 3s, and the rest are par 4s.

I am thankful that Black Oak allows walkers. The exercise that includes walking is the reason we play golf. The setting is very nice with the well-kept course and all of the trees that surround it.

Normally when you think 9 hole course you think executive or that course was squeezed into limited space. This 9 hole course is as challenging as any course you will ever play, with the greens in the last 5 years rolling as fast as the local country clubs. The lay out is par 36 on rolling terrain with many mature oaks, hence the name. However, to score on this course you must be able to work it both ways. Only drawback is range is mats and irons only if you hit it over 200 yards. Overall excellent experience, even for the low handicapper.
