Verrado Golf Club - Victory Course

Had a great day playing with my two sons and a friend! Staff was excellent and the course was great!!

We arrived 20 mins early and they did not have a golf cart for us to take to the range. We waited patiently and were able to get to the range to hit a couple balls. Starter gets us to the first tee and warns us to expect a 5 hour round. Not what you want to hear when you’re on the first tee box. Saw the ranger 1 time the entire round. The round was 5 hours and 15 mins. I understand it’s a Saturday in April, but overselling the course can ruin the experience and the goal should be honoring the experience for every guest. We played at 1 o’clock.. The course layout is awesome, the conditions were good. Fast and firm. A little dry but overall fun and challenging.

I think it would have been better if I play again lots of looking danger that we steered away from but when you got there it was not too bad

So all in all knowing the course like any course would have been helpful

But had a very enjoyable experience

Carts do not have GPS, greens are very big, starter told us pin position 4, but there was no green/pin map. Sand is poor quality dirt.

Beautiful place to play. The finishing hole is amazing

First time playing. There is no clubhouse, just a small pro-shop, and turn shack for beverages. I believe it is the sister course to their main one(Founder’s), which is a mile or so down the road,

So any after round cocktails are in a small seating area next to the turn shack. Pace of play is watched closely by the Marshalls. The group in front of us fell way behind, and they were told to skip a hole, to get back in position.

It’s a desert style course, however the desert areas are proliferated with rocks and boulders of all sizes making it very difficult to not only find your ball but to hit/pitch it out. It’s quite difficult to find an open spot to drop without interference from the rocks. We played them as lateral hazards. It’s a fun track with multiple tee box options and in fantastic shape. I will be playing there again.

Victory is aways a treat to play. Beautiful venue and challenging course.

The Course from Tee Box to Fairways were in Great shape. The Greens were smooth but didn't look like they got any overseeding. They were very dry with fertilizer messed into the grass. Overall Great Day on the Links.

I think we caught them during overseeding the greens. No mention of it when we booked. Other than that the course was in good shape.
