Verrado Golf Club - Victory Course

Very scenic, Great greens. Fast and true. Onlu disappointment was greenside bunkers need more sand.. Almost guaranteed double bogey if get in greenside binker.

This is a great course. Beautiful views, good conditions, excellent greens, and helpful and friendly staff. I wish they could improve the pace of play, especially with shorter days. The t-times are a little too close together and rounds average 4, 30 to 4,45, making a t-time anytime after 130 nearly impossible to finish.

I enjoyed the round, great views, the greens were fast but fun. My only complaint is that we were harassed about speed of play, yet we played 4.5 hours, stopping after 9 to buy drinks and let the group behind us skip and then had the marshal drive with us for the next 5 or 6 holes, yet nobody was keeping up with us. We don’t need to be harassed when there is no issue.

Course was in great shape and challenging. I’ve seen bad reviews but it seems like some ppl can’t handle their own or are too picky about things. Hit the ball in play and shut up. I WILL be back.

Love playing here. Pace of play was a little slow which is to be expected on a Saturday this time of year. Green rolled good but not great. Verrado is my favorite course in the west valley and by far best bang for your buck.

The course was in excellent condition. I would highly recommend it. The fairway are generous and the greens were fast.Nice layout and beautiful views!.

I booked a 2:45 p.m. tee time for three people. I got there at 1:30 p.m. which was just a little bit early. I figured I'd hit some balls on the Range. I walked up from the parking lot and met 3 people who appeared to be checking people in. I had my golf clubs on my shoulder and the gentleman asked are you here to play and I said yes and he said you need to go pay in the office. Then he threw his thumb over shoulder pointing in the direction of the office. So off to the office I go. I went in to the office and was told that I owed $160.68 but according to the Golf Now app I owed $140.28. It said on the GolfNow app that it was $44 per golfer for the round. Although the cashier said no it would be $49 per golfer for the round and would not honor the GolfNow price. He then proceeded to tell me that he had no carts either and that I would have to walk down to the range. So pretty much so far nobody's been really happy to see a golfer at the golf course. I paid the $160 and telephoned my son and told him that when he got there to get a golf cart and bring it down to the driving range. My son arrived met up with the three guys checking people in and said my dad already paid and he told me to get a golf cart. He was then told by one of the three your dad hasn't paid and you need to go to the office. My son said that I had in fact told him that I had already paid but went in the direction of the office to get clarification. One of the guys yelled at him just before he made it to the office and yelled that I had already paid, that he could grab a cart. No niceties, just rude.

Cart paths seem to be 4 wheel drive in areas. Course seemed pretty good. Got real stacked up. Was told the carts had to be in by 5:30pm. We made it thru 13 holes.

Overall, just ok. Unless you're a member they know by name, you aren't gonna get a hello from anyone.

I’ve played this course from the first year it opened and I’ve been its biggest fan supporter.. I would rave about this course to anyone who would listen . Not any more..The course condition use to be outstanding, but not anymore. . Three drunk guys in front of our group holding up play for the entire course ( some groups trying to finish in daylight) and not a marshal anywhere to be found... The staff ( except for the starter)?are as friendly and welcoming as a rattlesnake with an attitude of we really don’t want you here, which is good because it will be a long time before I ever return . Huge disappointment .

Our group arrived at the course 30 mins before the tee time to be informed that he had moved our tee time up. Then to be informed that we could only hit a few shots at the range. Each of our group had three swings on the range before the starter asked us to follow him to the first tee. At the first tee we were told to not look for any balls that might be hard to find because pace of play needed to be followed. We experienced multiple marshals give us contradictory information on being on time or being behind. Then we had another marshal tell us to that we needed to speed up our pace of play with no group behind us because holes were open in front. We finished as a foursome in under four hours and no group behind us.

If you r looking for a super course on a CHEAP twilight rate (after 1 pm). You need to play here. Best in the valley

The front nine is under construction due to new homes being built. Therefore, the cart paths and gravel and dirt. This makes it uncomfortable to get to each hole as it is very dusty. The back nine make up for it though. There are beautiful views. The course is challenging. The fairways are wide. I would recommend this course. I have played it before all the construction started and it was perfect.

Great course. The group behind us were rude. Driving up to the tee as we were hitting every time. Talking, walking around, just being obnoxious. You could easily see the proceeding group well ahead. Still played in 4.6 hours. We let them through to drive the group in front of us crazy.
