Verrado Golf Club - Victory Course

First time at the course, had a great time. First ones out finished in four hours. Everything was excellent, we felt the greens were slower than we expected. Friendly staff, attentive cart ladies, Marshal was grouchy!

Fine course is well maintained and challenging. Friday’s are often busy with large out of town groups so earlier weekday is more enjoyable and offers a faster pace.

This course is well layer out with a few tight landing areas off the drives. The greens are big and the day we played, ran fast. The only knock on the course would be lack of signage on the cart paths re parking carts, especially hole #2.

They have a small , but decent little bar/grille at the 500 sq. st. Club House. The man inside the Club House was rude. Never said “hello” never thanked me for driving 45 miles from Phoenix to play the course. Most importantly never went over the course layout or conditions. This is the second time this year I’ve encountered a corse where they let the Bermuda greens go dormant, did not over seed, just rolled the dead greens and painted them. It’s a disgrace to not disclose that material fact to us Golfer’s on GolfNow, charge us absorbent fees and not have our golf balls hold a line, or green because the greens are rock hard and in terrible shape. Disgusting they should be ashamed of their practice not to disclose the conditions of the greens. I can’t recommend and as a 47 year resident of Phoenix I would be coming back EVERY.

Had a very enjoyable game on course which is new but very interesting, fairways and greens were in excellent condition. well worth a visit

From the driving range to the tee boxes , fairways to the greens was very lush and well maintained.the course has a unique look playing through rock outcropping with a few unique holes and good views.

Love playing this course. It was in excellent condition.

I enjoyed this golf course. Fun layout, lots of variety, you can use every club in your bag. Conditions were good (especially with so much rain the last week - not kidding). Greens were EXTREMELY DIFFICULT to read - grain, slope, etc. But the true disturbing thing were the holes. On no less than 6 greens the HOLES WERE MASSACRED! Attempted double cuts, gouges out of the side, and crowned holes. We had 0845 tee time...so not many groups ahead of us, and these were the WORST CUT HOLES I’ve ever seen on any golf course of this caliber (more muny-esq). I would probably not play here again unless I could get a bargain.

I would recommend this course to anyone. From being greeted by the friendly starter to the great course layout and condition made it for a great day at the course

Loved the layout and unique characteristics. Very fair course!

The course is in great condition and has dramatic aesthetics. Seemed like half the holes had blind fairways so if you haven’t played it or don’t have gps your at a disadvantage compared to most courses. The greens are in as good shape as any

today was not the best weather, was supposed to get better , not worse . but was the opposite .

i very much enjoyed course today and people i was paired with were awesome. as always perfect conditions, greens tough as always. (roly poly). great time......look forward to my next round here .

I have played this golf course about five different times. It never disappoints. the course is fairly new and will only get better. the back nine has several blind shots, which I am not particularly fond of. But overall the golf course is great. Always in good condition. The greens are fast and roll well. Both golf courses in Verrado are a must play. the founders course is the more established course and is excellent in his own right. Play both these golf courses and you won't be disappointed.
