Coming soon.,,
The front 9 is only available, but they've made great improvements. Greens were in terrific shape compared to old, fairways and tee boxes have come miles from where they were. Some tee boxes will be moved to more permanent locations once finished hopefully, they're not all totally level, but besides that it will be great once the back 9 opens.
Payed for 18, only have 9
My coworker and I paid for a round of 18 and after receiving the cart and started the round, a staff member told us that the back 9 isn’t open but no one said the when checking in. So my plan was to play the front 9 twice which is no problem, they told me we couldn’t do that because they wanted to close early. 10/10 WOULD NEVER GO BACK.
Improved.
This is a challenging layout for skilled players. Several dog legs make shot shaping a must. Up hill and down hill shots are present and knowing how to level them out is a skill you need to possess. Numbers nine and seventeen are signature holes and well worth experencing. DO NOT miss playing this course if you live or are visiting Atlanta.
Back 9 Closed
FYI - Be aware that the back 9 is currently closed. The expectation is that you play the front 9 twice. Even without late-morning tee times being sold, it gets super backed up once you make the "turn". My friends and I ended up walking off the course after 9.
It's still a good value for the money, but can't justify a 5+ hour round.
Reopened
I played 04/22/24. I paid for 18 holes, but unfortunately only the front nine was open. There was no mention of this anywhere when booking the tee time and coming around the turn there were 3 groups waiting to tee off. The course was reopened after completing a new cart path, Club house renovations, water system throughout the course, and getting new (much needed) golf carts. There were no updates to tee boxes, greens, etc. (tee boxes aren’t ideal).
Aside from all of that… this is a great local course with some
Interesting hole layouts and elevation changes. A short course. The greens were decent, rough was tall, fairways were cut. They were working on the back 9 and it appears that it will open soon. I’ll be back - can’t beat the price.
Poor management
All this course needs is some better management and groundskeeping & id be willing to pay $45/ round. They have 12 working golf carts currently.
Great Value
The course was much better than I expected for the price. Some of the rough was very high but manageable.
I really enjoyed playing there and look forward to returning.
The staff was extremely helpful and friendly.
perfect day to play golf
The Young lady checking people in can use a touching up on customer service, nice, and welcoming. I had my friend with me and the seat ripped pretty bad and I asked could I have another people my feamale didnt want to sit on that she asked "What's wrong with that" I told her and she paused and I had to say will just use one ot the 5 that was sitting there.
Shame on the city of Atlanta
City of Atlanta, please do your part and provide an appropriate allotment of working golf carts to your municipal golf courses. I had an 8:20am tee time, and the nice starter/office gentleman said I might have to walk! I did the get the last working cart, but the foursome behind me, who paid for carts had to walk! This should not be acceptable to the city decision makers. Zero amenities at this course, so bring your own hydration. Even the ball washers didn't have water. Very nice people working there. C'mon Atlanta. You're better than this. Greens and course were in OK (1.5) condition at best.
Needs Updated
Great course for what you play. Challenging, best if you keep in fairway, otherwise in the fridge or ruff good luck finding ball even within 2 feet of you.
Old man walking
I thought I had scored a deal for $16 plus tax, until I checked in and was informed that I would be walking. I wasn't the only surprised golfer that day. It must have been 95* at our tee time. Needless to say I and others did not complete the 18 holes. I probably would not have made reservations if WALKIng ONLY was made big and bold on the site. I like playing Tup, but not walking in 90* weather.
