About
El Prado Golf Course boasts two different 18-hole courses: Butterfield Stage and Chino Creek. Early in California's statehood, stagecoaches would make the 2,700 mile trek from St. Louis to San Francisco. The property used to be a stop on this trail, which is where the Butterfield Stage Course gets its name. It's the shorter of the two courses at 6,568 yards from the back tees. The course is flatter and more forgiving than Chino Creek, but it still has a fair amount of challenges that will test your skills. The layout has generous fairways, but watch out for the strategically placed bunkers lurking along the large, gently undulating greens. Water hazards come into play on several holes as well. The wide open nature of the course can be forgiving but at the same time it will put your round at the mercy of the prevailing winds.

Butterfield Course
Took my son for a fun day of golf. Some tee boxes were backed up but just part of golf.. Fairways were a bit patchy with some hard soil area. Greens we good overall. Course could use a few ball wash stations but not a dealbreaker. Fun course and will return again.

El Prado is no doubt the best value around. 2 courses, great staff, I meet people here from Orange County and the surrounding area who all agree. If you have not played El Prado. Do so soon.
It's just a good old course
I can't say anything bad about this course; the pace of play could be better, But I always have a good time.
I've had some fun times playing here.
El Prado Golf 2 Courses
El Prado Golf in Chino offers 2 courses with nice layouts. Great value and location. Even top golfers won't be disappointed.
Great Driving range hitting off the grass.
tee boxes on a lot of holes are bare. dead spots in fairways, pick and place ball on grass. greens were ok for the most part. pace of play on back 9 was horrible. skipped 13 to 16. played 17 and 18 and that was it.
