About
El Prado Golf Course in Chino offers two 18-hole courses, Chino creek and Butterfield Stage. Chino Creek is the longer of the two at 6,858 yards from the back tees. It is also considered more challenging but both are player friendly enough to appeal to all skill levels. As its name would imply, the Chino Creek runs along the entire length of the golf course. You find water in several different forms throughout the course including lakes and meandering streams. The layout is spread across rolling terrain with elevation changes that range from subtle to dramatic. Several of the holes begin from elevated tees and it's likely you'll face more than one uphill battle. Trees and bunkers also come into play but the fairways are wide and forgiving. It's not an overly difficult golf course but beginners can also try the shorter and less challenging Butterfield Stage Course.

Just play it
Greens are in good shape. There are a few tee boxes that could use some attention as well as a few spots on the fairways, but for the price it’s a great course.
Good condition
The greens and fareways were in good condition, but the men's restrooms need more attention, especially at the clubhouse....wet floors all the time, unless leak and smell...it's a shame because remodel was great...hope to see improvement...but I like both courses
Good quantity
Many golf couse is beautiful， this couse is not very beautiful, but the green and couse are high quality, smoothy and comfortable.
Good time
Overall the experience was positive. The only criticism was the range balls were terrible. Get some new ones
Golf carts need upgrade
Their golf carts are pre-historic! They are beat up and dirty. My cart broke down several times due to poor contact of the key switch.

Fairways are lush with few bare spots.
Chino Creek is in very good shape. Fairways are lush with few bare spots. Rough has finally been able to be mowed down to a playable level. Greens are receptive like always.

Solid Course for the Money
As the title says, it’s solid for the money. It’s probably one of the only courses in so cal that’s over 6000 and you can get on for around $40. Does it smell like cow poop out there? Yeah. Is the course muddy in areas? Yeah. Do you hear gun fire from the shooting range? Yup. But it’s one of the only course where you can hit off grass from the range.
Pace of play was a little rough this time around, but we only had to wait on the back 9 and it wasn’t as bad as other places I’ve played.
