About
The beauty of the Santa Ana Canyons surrounds Green River Golf Club in Corona. The club originally had two 18-hole courses but they have been combined to form one massive, sprawling golf course. Although it is surrounded by hills and valleys, the course itself is mostly flat, making it a good round for high handicappers. The fairways are wide and forgiving, making it even more player friendly for beginners. There are still many challenges in store on this golf course though, including a number of river and creek crossings and strategically placed bunkers. The Santa Ana winds that sweep across the course can often make reaching the greens in regulation quite tough and the abundant trees, while providing a scenic and secluded atmosphere, also add to Green River Golf Club's difficulty.

Fair and only fair(acceptable, far from good)
Rock & pebble everywhere. Even in the Tee box.
Bunker is rocker no fine sands
Fairway is so solid(hard) add the distance addition 15 yards.
Every greens have different conditions some so fast so are so slow you never know what they going to be too much or not enough.
Nice staff and course layout badly maintained
This could be a really solid course, but they did not maintain it well for what looks like months. IE/OC offers a lot of better courses than this one. Probably will not be coming back. Fairways and rough are close to unplayable, greens were nice though. Pace was slower than I’d like too. Marshall warned the group ahead once but it was still pretty slow. And this is coming from someone who sucks and shoots 105.
Bugs
Way to many bugs. Seem like every flying bug was out. Made it extremely hard to play. I even had bug spray and it seem to have no affect.
I understand it's nature, but this was out of control.
Just a bad day all around. Next time will be better.
OK for the price
Im coming back into the game after over 10 years, so I'm not all that picky. The course was in ok shape. Greens were good except for all the leaves everywhere. If you miss the fairway a little, it will be hard to find your ball due to the uncut grass and weeds. More signage would be nice to help locate some of the tee boxes. We got lost a few times. Overall, it was good for the price while I'm trying to get my game back and dont want to pay a lot for tee times yet.
good layout but needs better maintenance
The course layout and the surrounding view were pretty good. the condition of the course was not very good. It could have looked so much better if they had maintained it better.

Green River Great Deal
Got out early. Played with my son and we finished in 3 hours, 10 minutes. The course was in great shape is is an excellent value.
Green River Rocks
The course is in great shape. The price is reasonable. The staff are friendly and helpful and the amenities are excellent.
Someone should be fired
Ran out of golf carts Sunday at Noon, how that happens is beyond me. Tee time at 12:30 didn’t go out until 1:20 didn’t finish until 6:15 backed up every hole. Poor starter looked helpless nice guy didn’t deserve that. Never be back to this joke of a course again.
Green River Rocks!
Nice tree lined course with a cooling breeze. Hit em straight and post a good score on some excellent greens.
Confusing course
Poor course layout and design. Bunkers were hard and not sandy. Fairway grass wasn’t cut well and hard to tell the difference from the rough in many places. You pass by the clubhouse on the way to hole 13 which is weird, but almost get lost trying to find 14 since no sign is there to direct you. The driving range is short and ugly . I’m not likely to return here unless maybe they paid me to come play .
rough fairways
very slow play, players hitting from back tees should be at the forward tees. fairways were very bumpy, and it got very windy in the afternoon. may not be back for awhile.
Great value
Need a Marshall going around to move along slow groups that get one to two holes behind and jam up everything for the rest of the people
Great Value
As a senior 42 rate with cart is hard to beat in SoCal. Course was a little rough in some places and the grounds crew was watering the back nine during the middle of the day and given the temps was a little strange and made for some interesting shots. The cart paths are in need of repair but that has been the case for some period of time and given the winter weather we had made the course pretty hard to maintain given its location. But still had a great round with my buddies on a warm April day.
