About
The beauty of the Santa Ana Canyons surrounds Green River Golf Club in Corona. The club originally had two 18-hole courses but they have been combined to form one massive, sprawling golf course. Although it is surrounded by hills and valleys, the course itself is mostly flat, making it a good round for high handicappers. The fairways are wide and forgiving, making it even more player friendly for beginners. There are still many challenges in store on this golf course though, including a number of river and creek crossings and strategically placed bunkers. The Santa Ana winds that sweep across the course can often make reaching the greens in regulation quite tough and the abundant trees, while providing a scenic and secluded atmosphere, also add to Green River Golf Club's difficulty.

WARINING: GREENS COVERED WITH SAND
I wish they would have let us know that the greens would be covered in sand prior to us booking and paying for a tee time. Otherwise it is a good course for the money.

Fairways nice Greens excellent shape . Players in front of us didn’t have a clue!
Rain has improved course conditions
Fun course, variety of challenging holes. Great views on some sections of the course, especially now. Everything is very lush and grown in. I could see this course not being as fun in the summer but highly recommend now! Good value for a full sized course on the weekend.
1Hr Delay Tee Times
Had 1 hour delay due to frost day after rain that makes no sense at all because was raining prior and staff was just late going through motions for a Sunday morning, Course was in solid shape after rains just don’t get the staff
Green River First Timer
A group of us golf every Superbowl Sunday before the game. We need to start early...and we got delayed to start off, The staff was good and kept us in the loop and did their best to get us back on track. our 4 foursomes would cone back again...
no carts allowed
since course was wet, only option was to walk even though when booking it said it included a art and i booked it that morning, they should have updated their offer on golf now i would have gone elsewhere, when mentioning it to the sales staff , their comment was whatever call golf now for a refund. great that gives me a lot of time to rebook and go somewhere else right?
Excellent conditions no one on the course
After the rain, the course has been in great condition. Pace of play was excellent
So slow
The course was packed and we had to keep the carts off the fairways. Took us 5:5 hours. Course was amazingly good for how much rain we have had.
Good spot
Good open fairways to keep it in play. The course maintenance is average, but the views are good. Take cash because their credit card machine breaks down. I would go back.
