Green River Golf Club
About
The beauty of the Santa Ana Canyons surrounds Green River Golf Club in Corona. The club originally had two 18-hole courses but they have been combined to form one massive, sprawling golf course. Although it is surrounded by hills and valleys, the course itself is mostly flat, making it a good round for high handicappers. The fairways are wide and forgiving, making it even more player friendly for beginners. There are still many challenges in store on this golf course though, including a number of river and creek crossings and strategically placed bunkers. The Santa Ana winds that sweep across the course can often make reaching the greens in regulation quite tough and the abundant trees, while providing a scenic and secluded atmosphere, also add to Green River Golf Club's difficulty.

good course and reasonable price
We love this course. A unique course layout, etc... then a reasonable price
Green River
Nice new carts! Pace of play very good 4hrs 15min. Cart paths & fairways still bumpy, all greens were great except #1 hole, but much improved over the last time I played there 6 months ago. Will definitely play there again.
Fun and challenging course
Easy check in and nice newer carts. Friendly employees. Challenging course layout with some tough greens. They are doing a lot of work on course to improve greens, tee boxes and fairways. Pace was good, not too busy for a Friday afternoon. Did 18 holes in just over 4 hours. Course has nice pro shop, putting greens and driving range.
3.5 Stars.... For the money it's a good deal....
I played here Labor Day Monday, teed off around 130p. Considering the money spent, <$30 on a holiday, I thought the course was pretty good. Don't get me wrong, there's some rough spots in the fairways and the greens are a little rough, but not that bad. Pace of play was great for the first 4 holes then we kinda hit a wall, still though we were on pace for a 4.5 hour round, maybe a few minutes longer, so pace of play was expected for a holiday round that cost <$30. Every employee I encountered was courteous and friendly. Starter was cool. They had a beverage cart out.
If you haven't played here in awhile you might notice it's fallen off a little, but all things considered it's still a decent track, for the right price. If you're looking for a good rate and don't mind course conditions that are middle of the road, then you might like it here. If you're looking for a four hour round on an immaculate course, you probably wanna look elsewhere. That being said I'll play here again.
Stay home - pace of play is 5.5 hrs
Cheer cart came around once in 5.5 hr round. Pace of play was horrific. Bring a back brace for all the whoops and potholes.
Good choice
It’s a fair course at a reasonable price. Can get windy in the afternoon.
In good shape
Course was in good shape, first green is bad but the rest are good. Play was light so it was a good day.
All decent except no carts
They didn't have carts for us. Teed off 20 min late. Had to finish the round in the dark.
Good
Bumpy but the greens are good after 1 place of play is good for the area
fair value
To play a course near OC for under $40 with a cart is a pretty good value.
Not a course I would want to play every week but once in a while it is fine.
Best value!!
Best course for the value, fastest 18 hole course around finished in 3:45
Need Chiropractor
OMG! This has got to be the bumpiest course in the OC! I need a chiropractor after the golf cart ride. There are holes everywhere. One of the bridges is very scary to pass over too, leaving you with a feeling of being grateful to have made it over the bridge. The club area is in need of repair as some tiles stones are loose and unstable. The course could really use an overhaul/update.
