Green River Golf Club
About
The beauty of the Santa Ana Canyons surrounds Green River Golf Club in Corona. The club originally had two 18-hole courses but they have been combined to form one massive, sprawling golf course. Although it is surrounded by hills and valleys, the course itself is mostly flat, making it a good round for high handicappers. The fairways are wide and forgiving, making it even more player friendly for beginners. There are still many challenges in store on this golf course though, including a number of river and creek crossings and strategically placed bunkers. The Santa Ana winds that sweep across the course can often make reaching the greens in regulation quite tough and the abundant trees, while providing a scenic and secluded atmosphere, also add to Green River Golf Club's difficulty.

Good times
I always have a good round here when I get to play with friends
Great value on a Saturday
Played on a Sat at 1:30 for an excellent rate for two people. The greens (except hole#1) and the fairways were in very good shape. I lost too many balls in the rough outside the fairways where there were a lot of leaves and shadows. I was really surprised to lose at least six balls when I wasn’t that off of he fairway. The pace was very good for a Saturday. We never rally waited very long for the group in front.
Decent for the money
We paid $25 and, for that price, it’s worth it. Bunkers were wet and fairways aren’t great. Play was slow but we played through a few groups and finished in okay time. For the price I’d recommend although doubtful I’ll play there again soon.
Old guy keeps up with the 30 somethings
I’m 67 and played with 3 guys in their 30 s I kept up with them and there drives for an old guy! We had fun!
Nice Day
Weather was perfect. Greens for the most part were good, but the rough was very high making errant shots just off the fairway to be very hard to find. Course also very, very lumpy and uneven in many places. Overall though, enjoyed it. Worth the $27 I spent.
Maybe my back is getting older...
....but, I felt the course was lumpy and bumpy, with roads under repair, and hard on an old guy's back. Long fairways, decent greens still make it worthwhile for average to better players.
Nothing changed as expected
Nothing improved, everything was same as years ago even enough rain in this year.
Great Course!
After all the rains, you wouldn't expect the course to be in such good shape but it was great! Didn't score that well but that's not the course's fault. Haven't played in a month. :-). . Keep up the good work out there.
Course needs upgrades
I haven’t played here in a few years. The staff is outstanding. The course, not so much. Fairways are less than average. And some greens need major work.
Perfect Deal
Cant beat the price for an 18hole . Ill definitely come back and play there maybe ill get a better score
Nice course!
Played it a number of times but this time we were unfortunate to get some new beginning players in front of us. After finally realizing we're weren't gonna finish before it got dark, passed them up and still finished short 4 holes. Need to tee off around noon and not after 1. I have never seen more golf balls left out on the course before (their loss).Still: good bargain for the money.
Course is run down
The greens were in pretty good shape but the rest of the course was in rough shape. Fairwairs were like a cow pasture very bumpy and dirt everywhere. No starter which made for a cluster at the start. No water in the ball washers and no marshals out to ensure pace of play is good.
