Green River Golf Club

2nd time playing in this course as the best deal in golfnow.com. The course had same poor management in starter and course conditions and pace of play. At the hole #16, there were so many players being blocked over there for more than 15 minutes.

Nice course but could use some improvements. Fairways were spotty with minimum grass at times and having to hit off of dirt but I guess it's to be expected give them the location. Putting greens are in Fairly good shape. Golf carts need help as brake wouldn't work and clipboard wouldn't keep score card nail down. No signs telling you where the next hole was was a little confusing but not terrible. Especially when looking for hole number 12. Very nice banquet facilities as we are considering having a wedding there. Nice staff, friendly people and nice and clean. Respectable and nice people in the Pro Shop as well. I would give it an 8 out of 10 if an even more if course conditions were better.

Played here today and people seem to play very fast here.

the grass of fairways are very long and it was very difficult to find the balls on the middle of fairway, and found many balls in the long grass fairways. Even you spent less one minus to look for the ball, the rear group hit the balls on the fairways already.

The course was in good shape and the pace of play was fine. My only problem was the 3 rd golfer they had go out with us. Our tee time was 7:26 and the gentleman playing with us was already hitting the sauce! Not the the courses fault, but who starts drinking at that time of the morning. He was rather obnoxious and would repeatedly walk on your putting line or talk while you were putting. Other than that the course was fun and in pretty decent shape.

Over the past 8 weeks the course condition has improved, there is still a way to go. Greens have been patched Fewer fairway bald spots , some tee boxes are really chewed up.

Since this is good layout l hope the progress continues.

With Golf Now deals it makes an inexpensive round.

Shot 85, it wasn't my best round but it was a beautiful day to be out golfing; a little windy.

Lousy course for the money, very poor condition , grounds are in construction, greens were lumpy & very dry, bare spots on some., should be closed it’s so bad

Greens were aerated. Fairways were awful and the rough was even worse. The rough was very bumpy and uneven with a lot of dirt. Cart battery started running out of juice on hole 13 and had to change carts. The replacement cart had a broken bag strap that barely get the bag in place. Paid $47.00 on Golf Now. Wasn't worth half the price.

Although the greens were punched and sanded they were playable but the reminder of the course is a bit scruffy. Many cart paths are so torn up or damaged we had to ride in rough or avoid them altogether. Fairways were not consistent, my group felt the course was kindve going to seed...most bunkers were dirt only and wet & muddy. Tee boxes were fair but overall felt the course was not in great condition. Probably won’t be back for a while...

The first green is awful, and continues throughout the course. The fairways are weeds and cut so low you need .to find a lump of grass to hit your ball. Went there to play 18 holes and they said they only have nine holes open due to closure by construction crews along the riverbank. They said you can call Golf Now for a refund if you don’t like it. They said you are prepaid and you can play the nine open holes twice , no rain checks. It would be nice if they would post this on Golf Now. I will not be returning to this course. It is not worth the money. This used to be a nice course but now it is so run down and unkept. The greens are dirt. The fairways are weeds and dirt.

due to nearby bridge construction, the course only open 9 holes. when making reservations, golf now did not warn me that the 18 hole round included same 9 holes played twice.

It was a great deal for $15, only to find out at the course the only open holes were 1-2 and 12-18. That explains why it was so cheap. Anyways, played that twice so all in all still a good day out there.

Love this course, it’s a shame the construction has turned it into a 9 hole course, but it still is a great course to play. The staff have always been so friendly especially Art in the pro shop. Hope they reopen the other 9 holes soon. The course is in fairly good shape.

I liked the layout of the course. Fairways a bit choppy and greens were below average. Fun course will play again
