About
The beauty of the Santa Ana Canyons surrounds Green River Golf Club in Corona. The club originally had two 18-hole courses but they have been combined to form one massive, sprawling golf course. Although it is surrounded by hills and valleys, the course itself is mostly flat, making it a good round for high handicappers. The fairways are wide and forgiving, making it even more player friendly for beginners. There are still many challenges in store on this golf course though, including a number of river and creek crossings and strategically placed bunkers. The Santa Ana winds that sweep across the course can often make reaching the greens in regulation quite tough and the abundant trees, while providing a scenic and secluded atmosphere, also add to Green River Golf Club's difficulty.

Good course for <$45-$50
Green River is a decent course for the right price. Not sure I’d pay their high end weekend rate. But for $35 or less weekday or $50 or less weekends, it’s a good track.
Condition is a little spotty. Definitely some barren spots in the fairways. Greens are in good shape though and the rough can be problematic.
Staff is friendly enough and for the most part leave you alone once you leave the pro shop. Haven’t seen a starter there in awhile. I usually play in the afternoon though.
Carts are a little rough, but run well and will get you through 18.
Pace of play is usually ok. Played in 4:05 on a weekday recently. No starter can lead to pairing up with a group in front or behind as the round progresses.
No real complaints, considering the cost.
Course
The greens were in great shape but the rough was so bad and had so many pot holes we lostso many ballswe decided to quit after 13 holes.
Trains going through the course blaring their horns
Had 10 people at the starter box waiting to tee off and they had people playing into you the whole time
Bring Water!!
As many of you know, the inland empire is very hot in summer green river does not have any water on the course nor does it have a cart person that sells any type of beverages by the time you get to the clubhouse you were on the 13th hole so you can be pretty parched and maybe even dying of thirst I don’t know why this course doesn’t have some sort of water or water fountains or some thing there. Covid has long over having said this when we finished getting to 13 it was about 430 and the snack bar was already closed so that was even made it more difficult so again, bring plenty of fluids and water. The course south was in good condition we enjoy the round for the price you can’t beat it.
Crappy Conditions / tee time moved
I made a reservation on golf app only to find out that when I arrived the course moved my tee time to later. The starter was rude and was letting all his friends out.

Bunkers - other than # 1, no sand or any attempt at maiintenance
Greens OK, but had areas that were bare on some holes
$64 with cart on a Sat am is a fair value in today's market
I can't recommend it, but would play it again if it was the right price
