Greens in excellent shape
The course was in excellent shape. The greens ran true and fairways were well manicured.
Good condition. Tee boxes rough but that’s typical. A little slow getting around. Greens very fast. Still, a good time for the price.
Great day on the greens.
This was a nice surprise. Didn't have much an expectations but the reviews i'd read were positive. Played with some friends and had a great round. Course was in good shape. Relatively flat for a Georgia course. Narrow fairways made, and long par 3's made for a good challenge. Looking forward to seeing this course in full operation as the clubhouse was closed. But I think the driving range is open again.
Carts back in by 7:30 when the sun doesn't go down till 8:30?
I like the course, and the greens were in pretty good shape, but the attitude of the management was disappointing. Requiring that the car to be back in at 7:30 is insanity, and will probably keep me from coming back to play late golf.
Municaipal course without all the fringe benefits of a members cohrse
Good track that’s in pretty good condition . Not very difficult but a quality track that’s fun . Played in now twice and would go back because value is good
Staff could be friendlier and currently no access to facilities or clubhouse. No food or drink
Cart path need lots of work with many potholes etc
Amazing public course -- will be even better when the greens aren't sandy
I absolutely love Browns Mills. It's an amazing deal and the city does a great job keeping it in great condition. I was playing by myself today and everyone in front of me let me play through with absolutely no issues. Completed the round in 3 hours. Unfortunately they just topdressed the greens heavily, so it feels like you're putting in bunkers half the time, but it will be good in a few weeks. Other than a couple of uneven tee boxes here and there, you cannot go wrong
Solid track
Good shape today. Teed off early, no problems until course was backed up towards the end. Solid track for what you pay.
Overpriced for conditions
Used the GN app which charged $45 to play. My first time looking for a course near the Atlanta airport and it was ok at best. Some very long uphill holes, and some shorter ones. Greens were fast, and still recovering from some earlier aeration. Fairways were not in great shape. A more reasonable price would have been $30-35 with a cart. No water, snacks, nothing open other than golf. Best part was the guy I played the course with (a local member) who gave me some tips on each hole.
