Chateau Elan Golf Club - Chateau Course

I have been here several times and always enjoy the course. The pace of play was great and the greens ran true. This is my Go to course and would recommend giving it a try. There are 2 courses here and the Château is a bit easier for the average player. Also, electric carts are great and nice to have a cooler. The beverage cart was running on Friday.

You can find great deals on this course. Not worth 80$ but definitely a great course

Chateau course is more forgiving than the Woodlands course. The staff were excellent , all around. They were accommodating to those with underlying health issues during this pandemic. That is very much appreciated. Course was in pretty good shape, considering sand is not available to fill divots during the current crisis. I will certainly be back.

Great course and facilities. Definitely a great value for the price. I played at 7 am and got out before anyone and really enjoyed it. I believe it is an appropriate difficulty for a resort course. Plenty challenging for a competitive golfer but not so much that you have to play it multiple times to figure it out. Conditions were great. There seemed to be a little variability between the green firmness and speed on a few holes which is a little frustrating if you don't know which ones they are, but not a big deal. Greens rolled well for the most part (8/10). Fairways were lush. Only complaint is that a GPS system in the carts would be nice. Especially with the resort style and many new players, it would be nice to know your lines off the tee. Would also speed up play. Overall great course. Will definitely play again if I'm in the area.

Ironicly last time I played here I was told that my 3 year old daughter would have to have her OWN cart because Braselton city said only one person per cart. She is 3.... I also got to watch the cart guys take my half eaten snack and put in on their table to eat instead of throwing it away after the round. Odd

Today, after I walked past the sign in the club house that said “please maintain 6 feet apart....” I was told at checkin that Braselton city now has told them that they MUST have the players share a cart. So the city not only tells them how to run their course but is also forcing them to break the 6 foot rule that magically only applies in the clubhouse? Shows that they only are worried about the staff getting potentially sick while forcing complete strangers to ride together. Shame really especially when there were only 4 other groups on the whole entire course which they obviously knew about by looking at their bookings. Played in 3 hours and course is nice but shame on them for their handling of the current situation and then blaming it on someone else when we all know it’s so they can book more tee times. Maybe that’s why there was nobody else out to play today.

Greens in poor condition as had been aerated less than two weeks prior although that was not communicated to us by either Chateau Elan staff or Golf Now. If we had known, we would have played a different course at Chateau Elan or elsewhere.

Greens had aeration holes and covered in sand which made them difficult to play and not an enjoyable round of golf. Very disappointing.

A good course & layout, but the worse condition I've ever experienced at Chateau Elan in over 50 rounds there.

We should have been told the course conditions regarding aeration at the time of booking our round of golf.

A little expensive for the green conditions as they we kinda sandy but overall great course.

Course in very good condition. Always enjoy the layout of the course.

Enjoyed a great round with my Dad on the Chateau course. Greens were recently aerated which took some of the luster off of an otherwise great course and beautiful day of golf. Nice folks in the clubhouse.

This course sucked don’t waste your money here go to trophy club in dacula

Good course to play but did NOT know the greens were aerated. We played 6/19/20. They need to let golfers know on website and usually golfnow notifies golfers as well. And to charge the amount they do while not ideal conditions....Very disappointed about the green conditions.

This is a beautiful course. The Chateau course is challenging but easy enough to play for the average golfer. We will be going back!

Course is in great shape but the greens are still super bumpy bc the just punched and sanded. I would wait 2-3 weeks to play here again.

In this day and age a little busy but people were friendly an no slow play.

This course is in such great shape! Troon Management is doing a fantastic job!
