Cherokee Run Golf Club

Loved the course and layout. Course was in excellent shape but greens were a little slow and fuzzy. The cart GPS system was more annoying than helpful with all the adds and driving restrictions may need tuned a little. Will definitely come back to play again.

Staff was awesome, Great practice facility, greens were probably aerated and sanded within the past few months but were in good shape. Great layout except the one par 5 that you have to go short, long, short but that is just my opinion. Overall great experience and worth the money!

Another 2 weeks and greens should be near normal!!

Even with the greens punched, this course is a great place to play. Very well kept and even though the greens were a week in from being aired, I still saw the greens roll well for the condition. Love this layout and it was a tough day playing the blues. It gave me all I could handle at 6550 yds. The cart entering certain restricted areas was a bummer when it happened but everything else was AWESOME

Playedin 7/20. Greens were aerated this week. It is necessary to have phenomenal greens as they do. Rest of course played great as usual. I love the layout and the variety of holes. great course.

The weather was hot and humid, a regular Georgia Summer day. The fairways are fantastic, ball sits up very well. The greens are hard and smooth, gotta really spin it to make it stop however I was really surprised at how grainy they were. Into the grain and good luck getting it to the hole, surprisingly slow,. Bunkers were mostly raked but several had only 1/2 inch of sand in the bottoms. Beverage cart came by several times during our round, and the marshalls that we did see were very friendly. Only drawback was what seemed to be a 3some holding us up a bit but still got around in 4 1/2 hrs. A fine golf course at a reasonable rate, highly recommended.

I have played here several times, and have yet to be disappointed. We were a little hesitant to book because of bad reviews from earlier in the year, but either those were false reviews or the course has done a complete 180. Greens were fast and true, the fairways were in awesome shape, and the tee boxes were well maintained. The course is not long, even from the tips, but does require good course management skills. Overall, great course if your willing to make a short drive east of Atlanta.

The Superintendent for this course has done a SUPER job. I have lived in the Conyers and Covington area for more than a decade. I used to play here often. Although, it's been a while since I've played here, I've NEVER seen this course in this kind of shape. The fairways are like hitting of off brand new mats except, you can get a nice divot. More importantly, it appears most players are refilling their divots with the sand provided on the carts. The greens were outstanding, not a blemish on any of them. The bunkers have been well maintained despite the amount of rain this area has received this year. My only small complaint is that the tee-times were staggered 10 minutes apart which makes for that "rushed" feeling for the first several holes until things pace out. If you've never played here, you should. In it's current shape, this course is a exceptional value for your money!

IMO this is one of the best semi-private courses in the metro area. Layout is challenging for me especially on a few holes. Greens are well maintained by staff AND players. Staff are all friendly and helpful.

I wish the course were a little closer to me but it's certainly worth the ride.

I live in Florida and this is my second time here. Great course. Played early and quickly. Awesome elevation changes which we don’t have back home.

Course is in great shape. Zoysia grass Fairways are great to hit out of. Greens are very fast downhill and down grain. A bit sluggish up hill though. Very nice lsyout.

The course is in excellent shape, even after three weeks of no rain. The fairways are lush, and the greens are impeccable- and fast!

First time playing. Great facilities for warming up. Incredible conditions, especially the greens. Few tee boxes need some help but that’s minor.

Only major issue is as a first time player we hadn’t issues navigating the course. On one hole specifically they have an old cart path that goes to old tee boxes, but still has a hole sign, so spend several minutes just trying to find the hole. Also - tee boxes need to be WAY better marked. Playing the tips I often drove past it and didn’t realize it until I had come upon the next tees. My wife often overlooked her boxes as well. Bigger and clearly marked where you are aware from the cart paths would make all the difference. But GREAT course.
