Fun course
At first I thought the course would be difficult. After the round I found that 90% of the fairway lies were very good. Area around the greens were very good. Greens were medium speed. The layout allows a very fair result if you don’t severely slice or hook. Great staff, excellent amenities. The only negative thing I have to say is currently they only have a temporary range. Unable to hit drivers and no grass just mats. Otherwise, this was a fun course for all handicaps.
Dry and Brown Look for Decent Lies Hard Pan !
I do recommend the course for the money that I paid layout is generous drive and brown greens are acceptable overall decent value and fun.

Nice course
Lovely good course, surrounded by cotton trees, average fairways and greens. Layout is average as well, most of the holes were strait. Tee time through golfnow app didn't show up.

Use to be nice
This course was a nice course back in the day it has a good layout BUT dead fairways mud in the bunkers NO SAND ruff is chunky and not maintained The greens are in OK shape.
Its to bad they ley it get to this, they closed the other 18 hole course ( The Lakes ) which was a very nice course back in the day and even had an Island hole par 3 kinda like Sawgrass, So they closed it to mine sand and have done nothing why not sell the property to a developer fix Ivanhoe and then you can charge for a nice course Just my thoughts

Not bad not great
Group in front was slow marshall not interested or paying attention. Other than that good value nice layout ok grass. Ice cold water ready and waiting at the turn is a nice touch.

Great fun course!!
I was expecting an ok mediocre course for the money but must say it was better than expected. The greens are in great shape. The fairway lies were all very nice. There are areas unappealing but none were a factor for any in play conditions. The greens and the area around the greens were in very good shape. I was able to get up and down often. The staff are all extremely friendly. Tried a few of the house drafts. Excellent taste at a good price. Driving range is limited but understandable with the recent closure of the normal driving range. Give this course a try. I think you’ll agree with all my comments. My initial intent was to evaluate the course for my upcoming tournament. This experience has given me no doubt I made the right decision. Thank you Cottonwood.

A bit tucked away but well worth the price. Staff here has always been friendly and flexible, even the food is great.
