Great staff
The people at this course make the whole golf experience so much more enjoyable. The pro shop people, the starters, the golf cart attendants, all friendly and accommodating. Couldn't ask for a better staff of people.
I have been playing this course for 50 years. I have always enjoyed it.
Snails pace
No control of the course! Had to call pro shop to get a marshal to move very poor group! The course looked like it wasn’t cared for.

Needs someone to keep up the pace of play, otherwise a great place, greens nice, fairways good, staff are excellent, best french fries in town. Keep making Cottonwood a great place.

Way too much money
I played Cottonwood a decent amount, but lately they have raised their prices and it's just not worth what they are charging at the moment.
It was fun when it was cheaper and it made more sense to get a quick 18 in after work. But now the conditions of the course, the carts and the club house is just not worth what they are charging. The greens are in horrendous conditions.

Punched Greens
Which they would have advertised the greens were just punched. No notice anywhere! A maintenance spots here in there also.
All and all, not a bad day! Pace was great! Fairways were pretty decent, a brown or bare spot here and there but not too bad!

By far the worst corse in San Diego
Do not play at this course. Only course I’ve seen with marshals here and for what point. Waited an hour past my playing time to start. Was only able to play 5 holes till both mine and my friends cart died. Terrible course conditions please save your money and go somewhere else.

First time but also last
Incredibly overpriced for the course play. Everything was scapegoated to the previous rain. This would include our near half hour delay as sixteen, 16, of their golf carts were not working. As you can imagine this drastically slowed and crowded the course. Much more bang for your buck on other courses.

Great place to play, staff is amazing, from Kevin to Paul. Greens will be ready soon after being plugged. Best french fries in town. Keep up the good work.
