Good value
Considering the rain, course has survived well. Beware of the "grand canyon" about 200 yards up on hole #2.
Hadn't played here for almost six years and prob won't again
Course is in terrible shape. Terrible tee boxes and even worse greens. Every putt was bumpy and sandy. We got our second golf cart at 12:27 for a 12:30 tee time. Just had all the feels of a course who knows it's on the to becoming condos or a salt mine. Sad really!!!

Course was a muddy mess. Don’t waste your time or money.

Great golf times!
I have been playing this course for 50 years. It is always a good challenge and a good layout. Prices are decent but the best thing about this course now are the people that work there. They are always welcoming and greet you with a smile.

Great Value
When I visit my son, who lives in San Diego, I usually play Cottonwood a few times when I'm here. I think Cottonwood is the best value golf course in the area. The staff is friendly and accommodating. Course conditions are pretty darn good and the greens were rolling true. I'll be playing another round or two here before going back to the Ohio winter.

rain and golfers have taken a toll
The greens were mostly trashed - unrepaired ball marks and foot prints made them horrid to putt on and then throw a 2 some between 4 somes and it crawls.
HEY - GOLFNOW: give us some more WEATHER choices: wet, windy hot cold PERFECT doesn't cover "sloppy" muddy cloudy, drizzle, are a few more options

30 minutes late teeing off NO CARTS
I arrived 30 minutes before tee time to see golfers waiting for carts! After checking in our foursome came out and waited 20-30 minutes past our tee time to get 2 carts. Tee’d off and first cart died on hole one. Waited 15 minutes for guy to bring cart. On 8th hole other cart dies, pushed cart with cart to starters booth and waited again to get cart. Lost at least a hour waiting for carts only got 15 holes in before dark. Tee’d off at 12:45

Horrible experience
The course staff were amazing and friendly. The golf course was rundown. There was a 20 minute wait for a cart which directly resulted in tee times being 20 minutes late. The range was rundown and poorly laid out. It took over five hours to get through 18. Not one Marshall in sight. The course was Lawless letting highly intoxicated people run rampant all over the course. The course has so much potential, but it appears that the owners have given up so they can sell it to become a Sandmine. Was extremely disappointed with the experience, not to the fault of the staff members.

Great Value!
Track is in fantastic shape despite our recent rainfall. Pace of play was also very good. A four hour round. A much better option and value than other East county options. I'll be back sooner rather than later.
