Golfing
It was a little slow, but it was fun to play, but the greens were a little slow and rough.
Great course and staff
I am a regular down there. I enjoy the food, employees and getting out on the course :-)

Cheap
You get what you pay for. This is one of the cheaper courses and it shows. It’s run down but it’s cheap.

cottonwood
Great place to play and value, best french fries in San Diego. Bunkers need some sand, but greens are great. Cottonwood has the best staff and peole are very friendly.

Breakfast drew raves........
Hosted a seasoned traveler for a go at Cottonwood...."best breakfast anywhere" he exclaimed!!....and he's been a lot o places, so that got us off for a fine day on the course...nice and green it was, greens a bit on the fast side so watch your speed...keep eye on the ball, lot o leaves around....overall a pleasant day at Cottonwood.......

Tee times
Not happy with the way the course gives tee times. If you aren’t a member you are shunted to the afternoon
Hi thank you for your feedback. We appreciate your input regarding tee times for non-members. The earlier tee times get booked by our members before they become available to non-members. Our members are able to schedule tee times 2 weeks in advance, whereas non-members only get 1 week. We hope you'll consider membership to get access to the perks!
Tee time
It’s a shame that you can’t get a earlier tee time. The members program pushes you to a afternoon tee time and then you have to hurry to complete your round. This is made harder by the lack of a marshaling presence on the course.

Beat
Course is generally beat up and neglected. Greens in good shape but fairways are chunked up, uneven and trash. Staff are friendly and professional.
