Golf Carts
I hope they start replacing these soon!
Third week in a row playing here and everytime a staff has to run out to bring me a different cart. These relics have done their job already, it's time to bring reliable and better.

Course is flowing.
Lot of golfers having fun at cottonwood.once you get a cart you should be on your way.fast greens with a flat layout.would recommend if you have never been.be alot better if they opened up the lakes side.

Played Twilight round on a weekday. Great pace. Conditions good for this time of year. Will play again when possible

First and last time playing this course.
The address listed on this site is incorrect so got lost on my way here. The clubhouse is run down. Golf carts might work considering the tire up cushions. The grass looked and felt like it hadn’t been watered since November... no snack bar and no cart girl. For the price we paid, severely disappointed.
Hi CJ, we are sorry that your experience was anything short of 5-stars. Our address is correct on GolfNow. Our course has seen a significant uptick in play and has resulted in more wear and tear on the course. Our course is also dormant which causes slight discoloration. Our snack bar is open until 5 pm every day in the clubhouse. We hope you will try us again in the future for a better experience.

Decent Course. Nothing Special
You definitely will not be wow'd by this course. Decent little course but fairways are spotty. Probably a little more yellow than green. That being said, course is priced appropriately and can be worth it if you're just looking to get out and play.

Perfect fall day at cottonwood
Course was in very good condition staff
And grill friendly and professional. Only
Gripe is shortage and poor condition of carts.
However course is pleasant to walk if you
Are so inclined.

It is still open...
have to be honest, currently, my game is good enough that I am so focused on the next shot and avoiding db, that I really have to think about the rating: grass on the fairway - check, grass on the tees - check, patchy, pock-marked greens -check. As one of a hand full of affordable courses in south San Diego, I guess I should be thankful it is still open! They are serving brews adn burgers, which is more than some places, so come on down and keep them in business.

Poorly maintained
Overall the course was definitely not in good condition, which isn’t my main concern. I had scheduled for a 1 PM tee time in which I’ll normally finish 18 given day light savings time. We weren’t able to tee off until about 1:30 while being stuck behind incredibly slow groups. Playing at a pretty fair pace on our end we managed to make it through 14 holes. No course Marshall on site.
