Very impressed
First time back since COVID. Very surprised at the great conditions all around. Tee boxes, fairways, greens were the best I’ve seen compared to most South Bay courses. Carts are old, range is lacking but for the price and conditions, by far the best.
Definitely will return. Surprisingly no blue tees. Either white or black. I think it’s their way of speeding up play since most will be intimidated to play blacks.

Love this course, pace could use improvement
The sand is actually playable unlike many local courses during COVID. Nice greens, fairways, and tee boxes. The rough is penalizing. The only knock on this course is the lack of a marshal to keep people at a decent pace. 2.5 hours per nine is frustrating to me. Mostly due to players not playing ready golf or not understanding the concept of ready golf. Maybe it’s a weekend thing?

Great bang for your buck
I really like this course. The price is right and the course is in great condition. Greens are smooth and consistent from hole to hole. Fairways are also very consistent. Very minimal bald patches on fairway. Very gofer friendly for the most part too.
On weekends, your tee time may be pushed back 20-30 minutes due to carts not being available. Not sure if they have a shortage of carts, they just take longer because they need to be disinfected or a combination of both. The good thing about this, is that you can have a few $3 draft beers while waiting.
Other than the wait, the course is great. You get some good views as well there. I paid $38 for a 2:52 tee time on a Saturday with a cart. This course feels more like a $65 course. I really enjoy playing here. I think it’s the best deal in south San Diego in my opinion.

Fairways and greens are in really good shape and price to play was just right.

Go early or not at all.
Course was so backed up I almost got into a fight cause people wouldn't stop hitting into us as we are waiting for the group ahead to clear the green. Took an hour and 45 minutes to tee off on hole 4.
I had a tee time at 1:22 and the pace of play was so slow by the time we were able to tee off on 4 it was almost 3:30.
If you are not on the early bird times don't go.
I've feed off here at 7:30 am and have had no problems. Any time after 11 you better bring plenty of beer to drink while you wait more than you golf.
We sorry that your round was anything less than a 5-star experience. We will work with our staff to make the course move faster to avoid this issue in the future.

Golf Cart Bench
Can use replacement or re upholstery. Be aware if you wear shorts. Driver side on benches are ripped due to wear and tear. Carts are in good condition mechanically.
