Poorly maintained
Overall the course was definitely not in good condition, which isn’t my main concern. I had scheduled for a 1 PM tee time in which I’ll normally finish 18 given day light savings time. We weren’t able to tee off until about 1:30 while being stuck behind incredibly slow groups. Playing at a pretty fair pace on our end we managed to make it through 14 holes. No course Marshall on site.

Anytime after 12:45 should be twilight
Good course. Decent shape, but the price should be lower. No chance of finishing 18 at 1:30. Especially without a Marshall on the course to make sure people are playing at correct pace.

perfect layout! cant beat the price! greens are on point. pace of play can be somewhat slow. but other than that this is one of my favorites.

Beware of the costs!
We booked the time for 2:22PM on a hot deal for $50 a golfer (18 holes, 2 of us cart included). When I go check in the person in front of me in purchasing a 2:30 tee time for $25 per person cart included. My buddy got there before me and already picked up the cart. We only got in 9 holes before the sun went down. I found out after the game that they charged him $20 for the cart that was supposedly included in my Golf Now booking. Basically if we would have booked 8 minutes later we would have spent $50 for both of us instead of $120. Be warned!!

Great value
Course is in the best shape I've seen in the last decade.
Needed a Marshall to keep a very slow group ahead of us moving.

MIG - Most Improved Greens
I have been playing Ivanhoe (and previously Monte Vista / Lakes) for 40 years and this is the best shape their greens have ever been in! Fairways and rough also have improved since pre-COVID days

Great weekend round!
Cottonwood has a good layout and in my opinion has done a good job of keeping the course in shape during the pandemic. It has gotten backed up to where rounds can take 5hrs plus especially on the weekends. For the price point this is a steal.
One of the fewer courses that can be both forgiving for less experienced players and has some fun challenges and hole for more serious golfers.
