The Trophy Club of Apalachee

The tee boxes are in poor condition. The greens are ok but were slow. There are WAY too many areas on the fairways that are neglected. The course is OK if you get a cheap price because it reeks of cheapness, especially compared to other area courses. Obviously, the course management is not spending a dime on up keep.

Over half of tee boxes were 1/2 dirt, 1/2 grass. Lot of brown spots and grass not growing yet. greens were good.

I have played this course a few times now. Staff is always friendly and very helpful. Also the course is always in great shape when I go and has a good practice area as we'll. this course can be challengeing and seems to always play different each time. Overall great course.

Course was in good condition for this time of year.
They have cleared a lot of trees around several greens and have improved line of site on some doglegs, which is great.

I had never played Trophy Apalachee though it is in my area of play. My playing partner refused to play there due to poor conditions, I should have listened to him!

The club house was nice, as was the personnel who were very friendly. The practice putting surface was excellent, the driving range was fair. Unfortunately when we hit the course the deteriorated conditions were very apparent. Some greens and tee boxes were in excellent shape, most were not.

The fairways were in winter mode, which as we all know means lots of roll which isn't bad. What is bad, is that there is no rough off the fairways, just hard ground, thus well placed shots on many slanted fairways just roll off into the woods.

There is a lot of trees that have been taken down laying about, and evidence of big equipment that has moved about tearing up the course. Hopefully this is evidence of an improvement plan in progress. I like the layout out, and with some TLC this could become a very nice course. Unfortunately, the cost of the round versus the conditions is a very bad value.

We had a 1:00 Tee Time but guy in pro shop wouldn't let us leave early because we were on a preferred rate. So, our 1:00 time became a 1:15 time due to a late 12:50 threesome that slowed everyone down. At the turn, the snack bar staff was more interested in talking than serving customers, a BIG FAIL. Greens in great shape, but the paid staff of this place needs training. Decent marshalls, but lacked authority, since it took several times to get slow threesome moving. Better on back nine.

I dont normally write reviews but the customer service I got at this course was great. I had about three problems during the round of my own doing and the staff was there with a great attitude and solutions that allowed our group to continue playing. Pace of play was an issue, but I'll give them a pass because they did have a scramble earlier and there was one specific group that was slow no real fault of the marshals. Great value I went when the turf was dormant after a rain and the course held up better than expected. Will definately set up t times at this course again.

Beautiful day, practice green and front 9 were being aerated, back nine greens were nice and fairly fast for early March. Not too long, tough but fair with a few forced carries and sloping fairways. Our foursome moved fairly quickly even on a fairly crowded day. Thankfully I'd been paired up with guys who'd been here before. Lots of distance between holes so it can be hard to navigate. Overall an A- in this price range, definitely worth coming back later in the year when the fairways turn green.

Was in good shape for the winter we have had. Greens were excellent and fast. Cant recall which hole it was but its a drivable par 4 were the green was putt putt comical with the hole location. Nice pace of play for a packed Sunday. Play from the blues to get your moneys worth.

I paid for 18 but only got in 9. It took 3 hours to play 9 holes. The tee times were stacked on and it wasn't worth the money, time, or frustration. Tee times were not spaced out far enough and the marshalls were not doing their jobs.

Absolutely the worst course I have been on with drainage issues, not just a few holes but at least half of the holes had a drainage problem. Other than that the course was good but overpriced in my opinion for the condition it was in.

Fairways and tee boxes in good shape. The greens were in excellent condition. They were rolling probably 10! No complaints...the weather was awesome and the course was in great shape.

With a slight threat of showers, I was able to tee off and play alone in 3:20... This course plays fairly and only has a couple of tricky spots. .. I'd play it more often if it wasn't 35 miles from my home. . always a good experience, and the staff are young and energetic.

Have played course twice recently and overall a good experience; however, pace of play can be a problem which could be solved by more visibility of marshals.

The course was neat and the staff was friendly and even let me start 30 mins before my tee time since it was a little slow played this course a couple times as a young man but found more joy in it this time around

Be prepared to be in the short grass or bring lots of balls. Nice day, a little wait but to be expected.

This is a fun golf course. Not to long, fantastic par 3's, and great greens.
