About
Turkey Creek Golf Club in Lincoln sprawls across rolling hills that are covered with mature oak forests. The back nine even closely resembles Germany's Black Forest. The centerpiece of the course is the old granite quarry that was transformed into an expansive lake that comes into play on the third and final holes. The golf course is formidable, testing golfers with blind shots and uneven lies, but the challenges are nicely balanced by long, open fairways. Water comes into play several times throughout as well as the towering trees that blanket the landscape. The course will keep golfers on their toes but there is plenty of visual respite available. Players can often catch a glimpse of the abundant wildlife that call Turkey Creek Golf Club home, including deer, quail, foxes, and of course, wild turkeys.

Golfer Reviews
A good course
The t boxes were rough, and there were several patches of dirt on the greens, but over all the course was in good condition considering the hot weather of the last few weeks.
great course
tough but fair...very scenic, always see wildlife, today was a doe and her fawn on the same hole I just missed an eagle putt...tap in birdies are fun as well
Best Public Course in Sac
This and Timber Creek really push (IMO) as some of the best courses in SAC. The last two times I have been they don't even have the TIPS (Black) box set up; lots of limbs and overhanging branches surrounding the box. Leads me to believe they haven't been used in awhile. Layout is awesome, lots of rocks in the middle or sides of the course. My comment about the black boxes should give some insight into how challenging of a course it can be...
like the elevation changes
Elevation changes and doglegs make club selection interesting, Greens were in nice condition
Super Nice Course
Talk about a hidden gem, played this course for the first time and it was awesome. Beautiful course with a great layout and challenging holes.
Great day of golf,, Pace of play was relaxing. Nice beautiful wooded surroundings that make for a nice experience. Definitely a place to come back to.
Disappointed and SLOW
This is one of my favorite courses to play but today was a golf nightmare. We were sent to the tee as a twosome. Then on hole 2 a man joined us he was sent out by the pro shop to start on 2. He wasn’t a friendly guy! The course was in poor shape I’ve never seen it like this and we’ve had great weather! The greens were full of ball marks we fixed many! The tees were terrible fairways poor shape. On top of that it was very overbooked and slow 4 groups ended up on 18 tee waited all day we left! Won’t be back maybe next year!
First Time at the Creek
Overall I thought the course played well. There are some challenging holes to tackle and making the right club selection is important. Several blind tee shots and greens. Though the greens were in good shape, it was hard to judge them. Speed varied from green to green and played slower then expected for the weather conditions. Hitting the ball straight is important because the fairways are lined with trees, lots of them. I enjoyed the experience and look forward to playing T.C. in the future.
Great find
A buddy recommended this course and I was very impressed with the course.
Driving range is well marked and very wide which is nice. Yardages are easy to read. Unfortunately, the da I played it was mats only. The mats are old., ratty and was not a good experience.
Staff was very welciyand friendly. Rave reviews
Hidden gem
This was our first time playing this course, we were very impressed with everything. We're kinda upset we hadn't played here before as we come down from Reno once a year on a golf trip. We will definitely be back. We would highly recommend this course and we can't wait to come back and play it again soon.
Great Layout
Great layout, greens not real fast, not real slow. Preferred faster. Pace of play, 4:30 hours. Not rushed or hurried. Played on a Friday afternoon at 2pm
Great course
I recommend this course to anybody who want to play at a beautiful and well kept course for a reasonable price. Friendly staff and the pro shop has great deals.
Memorial Weekend
I wish I could blame the pace of play on the fact it was a weekend but it was not busy. Despite their GPS system which allows them to notify groups that are playing slow, they choose not to use it. In addition they have a pace chart set at 4:34 to play 18 holes. That's not acceptable under any circumstance. I would play here more often if they monitored the groups on the course to play at a 4 hour pace because right now it's closer to 5 1/2 hours! I have other options to play other courses much faster and in the future I will use them. Kind of sad because this is a great golf course and the staff is awesome.
Great bang for your buck
I really enjoy this course. It is very well maintained, and is extremely green right now. If you like strategic golf courses, this is the one for you.
