Turkey Creek Golf Club
About
Turkey Creek Golf Club in Lincoln sprawls across rolling hills that are covered with mature oak forests. The back nine even closely resembles Germany's Black Forest. The centerpiece of the course is the old granite quarry that was transformed into an expansive lake that comes into play on the third and final holes. The golf course is formidable, testing golfers with blind shots and uneven lies, but the challenges are nicely balanced by long, open fairways. Water comes into play several times throughout as well as the towering trees that blanket the landscape. The course will keep golfers on their toes but there is plenty of visual respite available. Players can often catch a glimpse of the abundant wildlife that call Turkey Creek Golf Club home, including deer, quail, foxes, and of course, wild turkeys.

18th tee box, with a few elevation changes and water on the left. If you feel confident, slug it off to the left and clear the water, putting you in a great position for a second shot to the green Photo submitted by copz1998 on 07/20/2018

Nice course
Nice course that has the beat carts in the area with God, bring extra water as the course does not offer an abundant amount.
Great course that is always in god shape. It normally plays slow but this was the quickest round I've played in some time.
NICE round even though I played horribly
This was my first time playing Turkey Creek. I was frustrated with my first few holes because I didn't understand where the landing areas were and I hit the ball too far through the fairway on number three and four. I should have paid more attention to the on cart GPS which was very nice to have. Greens were rolling very nice, even though I putted poorly. My overall score was the worst of the summer, however the person I played with shot his best brand of the summer so I have to put the blame on my poor iron play. We got stuck behind some rather slow players but after a "friendly" reminder they picked up the pace of play. Carts were very nice , And there was water to drink every few holes. Overall a very nice experience I will be back. Great price through golf now.com
Turkey creek
For the first 9 this coarse was great, then went into club to get a drink and a snack and nobody to service!!! Then we run into a cluster on the back 9 with pace of play!!!
It was a great day the course was in good condition first day of 70 degrees just after the rain
you should let people no when the greens are sanded!
great
great golf with no disappointments. other than the greens being punched it was fantastic.
This course is always a great place to play.
The course was in great shape despite all the rain we have recieved. Greens were awesome . Some sand traps were under repair .. due to the rain .. overall beautiful condition .
Fun, Challenging Course with Great Staff
We've played Turkey Creek many times and never grow tired of it, unlike some of our local courses. Its varied terrain and hole layout, natural setting (deer and wild turkeys are commonly sighted), and good course maintenance make for a great on-course experience. Off course, the pro shop and bar/restaurant staff are welcoming and attentive. Highly recommended.
Gotta play this course
I like this course for a variety of reasons. It is a difficult course and requires a bit of thought to be successful. The main reason, however, is memorable holes. There is just a lot of them that you will remember - #2 par 4, #3 par 3, #4 par 5, #10 par 4, #14 par 3 and #18 par 4. There are absolutely zero houses around so you feel like you are in the woods
Turkey Creek Again and Again
Played again after recent storms, course held up. Course was as packed as I have ever seen it. There are a few more water hazards now on holes one and two, lake goes to edge of green on three, and then the fun begins on holes four, five, six...hole nine is a good one too. Need to be extra long on tee to have any chance at reasonable approach on all. Then, onto a solid back nine, and a unique number 18. What a great course, can't say enough. Would play here and only here if I lived closer. Great track.
Sunday, Funday
Hopped on GolfNow.com and found the discounted tee time for one of my preferred courses in the area. Conditions were cool/cold, but the course was in good shape despite the recent heavy rains. There was limited casual water. The mats at the driving range were very worn, BTW.
Enjoyable Challenge
This course is covered with Oaks and has lots of rolling hills which were very nice. It is a challenge to play but not too hard though.
Course ok; pace of play terrible!
Course was in decent condition for time of year (december), fairways good, greens bumpy. Front 9 played in 2:20 (a bit slow, had to wait on every shot). 10th Tee was backed up with a 5-some in the fairway waiting on group ahead, a 2-some waiting on the Tee, the 3-some we were behind waiting...then us (4-some). We asked for and received a "rain check" for the nine holes remaining on our round since the entire back nine was a disaster according to the pro shop and they had no marshal....that shouldn't happen!
Great course
Really enjoyed plying this course. It was in great condition loved the GPS on the carts, will definitely come back.
