Interesting and fun layout, lots of trees, natural vegetation, wildlife & water features. I enjoy visiting and playing this course.

Went and played this course a day ago. They were running behind and we tee'd off 15min late. Once we got going the greens were rough from being punched 2weeks earlier. Also some of the greens had spots that were just missing from them. Took us over three hours to play the front 9. Saw the marshal once on the course not doing anything except for sitting In between two fairways not monitoring pace of play.

After encountering slow play most of the day,came upon a bizarre situation on the 18th tee after it occurred. Apparently the group in front of me was challenged to a fight by the group in front of them. I did hear one of the lead group call the other group a C/S. Don't know the particulars of what on before ,but one of the group in front was frightened of a beating in the parking lot by the aggressor I was told. The Placer county sheriffs office was called.I did see one of the front group deposit a bunch of beer cans before I left and before the deputy arrived. Drinking to excess on any course can create this type of situation. Horrible situation.

A few of the greens did seem to have a fungus and were not rolling true.

Course was in very good condition. A few greens beat up. good pace of play most of the round had slow down on the back 9

Narrow fairways, protected greens and beautiful terrain relief make this course one of the best courses in the area.

Not many golfers out the day my group played which let us take our time enjoying the course. Challenging pin locations on some holes but great course layout. Course is beautiful and well maintained, I will certainly play here again.

This was my first time playing this course. I was exceptionally pleased at how well this course drained after having several rain storms roll through the area, a lot of other courses in the area were soggy with cart path only restrictions in place, not so for Turkey creek. Course lay out was a little tricky with a lot of blind shots requiring you to reference the cart GPS system to ensure group ahead was clear, great challenging shots though. Overall the layout among the wild oak trees gave you that foothills feeling, looking forward to playing it in the spring/ summer when the trees are full and the grass is more filled in.

Had a noon tee time and couldn't finish before dark. Pace of play was the slowest I've ever seen. Two groups in front of us had 3 people to a cart with kids running around and absolutely no help from the Marshall that was on the course. Much better courses in the area for the same money

Played this course on a cold day but was reasonably protected. Greens were excellent. Narrow fairways makes if challenging. Great lunch.

Great scenic views, greens in good condition, worth the drive.

Love this golf course because it makes you keep your game in check, play too aggressively and it will be a long day. Fairways were firm so a lot of rollout off the tee box, greens were beat up on a couple of holes but overall in good shape.

Used to play this course every week but got fed up with 5 hour rounds. Thought I'd give it another go but same ol thing. Nice track and friendly staff but it's always overbooked. They called us in at 4:45, still had 1/2 hour of daylight but couldn't finish round. :(

Great deal on golf now. This is a great course although pace of play was very bad today. Our tee time was 1215 and we did not finish until 5 right at dark. Marshall drove by us 4 times so I'm not sure if it was over booked or a slow group

Course requires a fair amount of accuracy. Not extremely long, but accuracy is a plus.

Greens were in very good shape, but tee boxes and some areas of the fairways needed attention and watering.

The course took a hit over the summer...lots of dead and dying grass coming back. Fairways are hard and lots of roll. Greens in good shape and recovering as well; fast and mostly true, but still a little bumpy.

I enjoyed playing at this course. The staff was great, the course was in good condition. A lot of trouble every where. The pace was kind of slow but again probably due to the trouble every where. Only wish I live closer to this golf course.

I recently played here with my adult son. We booked a tee time for 7:20 and arrived at the course at about 6:35am to warm up. Was informed that the driving range doesn't open until after 7:00am on Wednesday...bummer. Upside was that they allowed us to go out as soon as dawn broke (about 7:00am) which meant we had nobody in front of us. They allowed a single to join us (an employee of the course) which was ok by us. We flew around the course and finished our round in 3 hours.

Great course and staff. Pace of play, at least on the back nine, was dreadfully slow. We were even forced to listen to a group behind us that was playing music in their cart. As if they didn't realize that sound actually travels. My recommendation is that if you're going to play this course play in the morning.....as I will on my next visit.

Great course, love to play here except for the pace of play. It's always been slow. Don't believe it's the conditions, just the type of people that play it.
