Turkey Creek Golf Club

My husband and I really enjoyed playing at Turkey Creek. The course is challenging, but not too difficult. We had a very nice time, and will definitely play it again.

Played the course for the first time; outstanding course! Well maintained, excellent staff and starter was very respectable and helpful. Great course if your a long hitter. Greens were outstanding.

I played this course today for the first time. I read about this place on the internet, and read the course ratings and course slope.

For a 25 handicapper like myself, this course was challenging to me because I couldn't hit the ball straight.

This is a GORGEOUS and well maintained golf course.

It has tons of trees, lots of water, lots of bunkers, all of which make for a fun game.

I probably hit every tree and rock on this course today, but it was fun.I Also put 3 balls in the lake on the 18th hole. Two in the first lake and 1 in the second lake.

I can't wait to come back and try again.

This is a tricky golf course, but a lot of fun. Back nine is a lot more challenging. The course was in great shape. We got a great deal thru Golf Now. Pace of play was normal. We did not have to wait much at all. We play this tract regularly.

Great North CA course. fun to play, nice carts and good GPS. The TC Cheeseburger was just OK. Free drink fill-up.Diabolical greens keeper. I liked the driving range too.

A marshal on the course would be great. Played holes 10-12 in 1 hour. A marshal on the course to keep the pace of play going would have made this round more enjoyable

Set in the sierra foothills, this course is beautiful. Granit bolders, majestic oaks, and well maintained fairways and greens. There are a few holes that course knowledge would or could make a substantial difference in your score. You need to pay attention to pin placement and not necessarily shot for the. (I know, no risk no reward.)

PS. Turkey creek has lots of turkeys on it. This is kinda cool.

Worst round of golf ever at Turkey Creek. 6hours unacceptable at any price. Had to complain about the people 2 groups in front of us 3 times before someone finally did something. When the slow group as asked if they could speed up a little they drove 2 miles and hour from then on. These people should have been removed from the course and band from ever playing there again. We love the course but probable won't ever return because of this. Kristi the cart Lady was wonderful and took good care of all the thirsty Golfers. 97 out

I hate it when I book a tee time on the phone, and they don't tell me the greens are punched. Other than that, nothing to complain about. The course is tough as ever, in great shape, and not overcrowded. Very friendly staff, and on the 19th hole got free fries with our pitcher of Fat Tire. I will say, they gave us a coupon for a free round due to the punched greens, so I appreciate that. Beware that after the third hole, you have to go through the parking lot to find the 4th, no sign. Lots of tree trouble here is you are not in the middle of the fairway. On at least 6 holes, I had to go over trees to reach the green, even though I was in the fairway.

Awesome layout, aerated greens made for a bad short game.

Course was in great shape. Would of liked to know when I booked the round that the greens were punched and sanded as well as some of the traps were being rebuilt. Love this course. Pace was right at 3 hours for 18 holes.

The gps on the cart saved at least one stroke per hole. Shot a 83 best round ever I will definitely play Turkey creek again

Love it , except for slow play.

The course is in good to great shape. Staff are excellent. Finished 30 minutes behind pace of play. No beverage cart but water available on various holes. Excellent value but that may be the reason for so many slow players.

This is the kind of golf course that provides the best value and best layout possibly that I've ever played. The greens were rolling nice and fast and everything was looking nice and green.

We had 2 foursomes in front of us but the pace of play was just fine and we were happy and the people behind us were happy. We stopped by the snack bar three times and it didn't slow anyone down. We spent a lot of money in the snack bar but we were happy to do so because it was really good food and drinks.

In the end, I can't say enough good things about this place. Hope it stays in business and is making a profit.

Great course for the money. Narrow fairways that are mowed tight and 3 tier greens. If you can hit your spots on the greens you can usei it to your advantage. It's worth the drive and the money.

Course is full of challenges. Quite a few holes with water that could be challenging for those that are not seasoned golfers. But, overall it is a fun course to play.

The front 9 the pace was very good --no waiting at all. The back 9 we waitied on every hole after number 10. Very slow. We were a twosome and the two groups in front of us were also twosomes---the play should have been faster and smoother. This seems typical at this course unless you go out at 7AM. Conditions of the course and greens were very good though!!

Interesting and fun layout, lots of trees, natural vegetation, wildlife & water features. I enjoy visiting and playing this course.
