About
Turkey Creek Golf Club in Lincoln sprawls across rolling hills that are covered with mature oak forests. The back nine even closely resembles Germany's Black Forest. The centerpiece of the course is the old granite quarry that was transformed into an expansive lake that comes into play on the third and final holes. The golf course is formidable, testing golfers with blind shots and uneven lies, but the challenges are nicely balanced by long, open fairways. Water comes into play several times throughout as well as the towering trees that blanket the landscape. The course will keep golfers on their toes but there is plenty of visual respite available. Players can often catch a glimpse of the abundant wildlife that call Turkey Creek Golf Club home, including deer, quail, foxes, and of course, wild turkeys.

Golfer Reviews
Humbling course
Love this golf course because it makes you keep your game in check, play too aggressively and it will be a long day. Fairways were firm so a lot of rollout off the tee box, greens were beat up on a couple of holes but overall in good shape.
Way too slow
Used to play this course every week but got fed up with 5 hour rounds. Thought I'd give it another go but same ol thing. Nice track and friendly staff but it's always overbooked. They called us in at 4:45, still had 1/2 hour of daylight but couldn't finish round. :(
Fun course
Great deal on golf now. This is a great course although pace of play was very bad today. Our tee time was 1215 and we did not finish until 5 right at dark. Marshall drove by us 4 times so I'm not sure if it was over booked or a slow group
Nice track.
Course requires a fair amount of accuracy. Not extremely long, but accuracy is a plus.
Greens were in very good shape, but tee boxes and some areas of the fairways needed attention and watering.
Stressed but getting better...
The course took a hit over the summer...lots of dead and dying grass coming back. Fairways are hard and lots of roll. Greens in good shape and recovering as well; fast and mostly true, but still a little bumpy.
Very nice tough course!
I enjoyed playing at this course. The staff was great, the course was in good condition. A lot of trouble every where. The pace was kind of slow but again probably due to the trouble every where. Only wish I live closer to this golf course.
Great course for the money
I recently played here with my adult son. We booked a tee time for 7:20 and arrived at the course at about 6:35am to warm up. Was informed that the driving range doesn't open until after 7:00am on Wednesday...bummer. Upside was that they allowed us to go out as soon as dawn broke (about 7:00am) which meant we had nobody in front of us. They allowed a single to join us (an employee of the course) which was ok by us. We flew around the course and finished our round in 3 hours.
First Time at Turkey Creek
Great course and staff. Pace of play, at least on the back nine, was dreadfully slow. We were even forced to listen to a group behind us that was playing music in their cart. As if they didn't realize that sound actually travels. My recommendation is that if you're going to play this course play in the morning.....as I will on my next visit.
Good but Slow
Great course, love to play here except for the pace of play. It's always been slow. Don't believe it's the conditions, just the type of people that play it.
Challenging but rewarding
Very tough course if you haven't ever seen the layout or played, but the course was in great shape and the staff was friendly! Would recommend
Greens
Had a great day at Turkey Creek, however it would have been appreciated if Golf Now would inform customers when greens have just been plugged! This has happened twice now, and definitely would not drive over an hour for it! Golf now should do better.
Nice Travk
Nice course as long as you don't mind trees. Very scenic. Awesome Rock formations.
Good course expensive price
The course is very challenging and fun. They have the price way to high compared to other courses in the area. I will only play this one again with a special deal.
Great place for golf.
I had a great deal with buy one game of golf and get the next game free.
Nice open coarse
Coarse was laid out well, open yet necessary to keep in fairways. Will definitely return. A little on the pricey side, but nice coarse. Spacing of tee times were great, only got backed up the last 4 holes.
Perfect Day
An absolutely perfect day. The course was in great shape. What I like best about this course is of all the public courses in South Placer County this is the only one where there are no houses around it. It is always well maintained and the staff is very friendly.
Gimmicks galore
If your a fan of gimmick golf holes you will enjoy this course... I'm personally not a fan of holes that you get penalized for hitting good shots! Also would be nice if they would tell you the greens were punched when making a tee time! Otherwise it was beautiful! Had fun and the pace of play was very good!
This course has interesting features
It was most helpful that it is visible from the main road, and that there were signs so one doesn't have to get lost!!! This is our third or fourth time in the last two yeaars and we have enjoyed the course each time. There were challenging features but it made the course more interesting and the weather helped a lot.
The trees made the temperature manageable.
greens need some luv
Overall, the course was in decent shape and greens were receptive to shots. The greens were very inconsistent with all of the winter weed grasses on some of the greens.
