Turkey Creek Golf Club
About
Turkey Creek Golf Club in Lincoln sprawls across rolling hills that are covered with mature oak forests. The back nine even closely resembles Germany's Black Forest. The centerpiece of the course is the old granite quarry that was transformed into an expansive lake that comes into play on the third and final holes. The golf course is formidable, testing golfers with blind shots and uneven lies, but the challenges are nicely balanced by long, open fairways. Water comes into play several times throughout as well as the towering trees that blanket the landscape. The course will keep golfers on their toes but there is plenty of visual respite available. Players can often catch a glimpse of the abundant wildlife that call Turkey Creek Golf Club home, including deer, quail, foxes, and of course, wild turkeys.

A Very Pleasant Round of Golf
Turkey Creek was a beautiful course, well maintained, user friendly without being wimpy, and reasonably priced,
We found staff and players to be friendly and accommodating. A very pleasant experience-
Great value, great golf course
I love this course. Very well maintained even in the current drought, and you can't beat the price. Best value around. The course is challenging but not punitive and the greens are kept at a reasonable speed. Generally the pace of play is very good however this round I got stuck behind a 4 some of what appeared to be beginners that slowed down the who works. None the less great place to play.
Great Course
Have played here before and generally I never play the course very well but this time most parts of my game were working and I shot my best score ever here; an 85. The course is in great shape and fortunately the weather was cooperative as it has been very hot here lately (over 100) but this day it was only 85. This is a very challenging course and I would not recommend it for beginners who are just starting to play and learn the game. There is a great practice area for chipping and bunker play on the far side of the driving range that you would miss if you did not know it was there. I always enjoyed playing this course even though it typically beats me down pretty good. Played with a twosome of young guys who were playing it for the first time and they were very impressed by the layout, conditions, maintenance and difficulty of the track. Love this place.
Turkish Crick
This course is a personal favorite of mine. It always provides a great challenge with multiple elevation changes, plenty of hazards, and multiple tee locations. The staff is nice and personable. I especially enjoy the fact that the entire course is free of houses, no annoying neighbors to deal with. It is truly a country club experience when the tee times are spaced properly.
I play this course at least 2X/ week and may even join with a membership!
Turkey's Everywhere
The Question is did they name the course because of the turkeys, or did the turkeys come later. In any case I easily counted more than 60 of them during the round. And no geese, and their stuff. The course is very well maintained, the greens were in great shape, and considering the drought they've done a super job on the fairway's and tees. Some of the best maintained and most consistent sand traps anywhere. This is a fun course with lots of variability. GPS/Scorecard on the carts, well stocked refreshment cart with a very pleasant young lady and the staff is great, and I mean all of them. The last time I played the course, in early June, there was lots of very long weeds and grass between and off the fairways, so easy to loose balls. Now that grass, very dry and been trimmed to ground level, so about the only place to loose a ball is in the water and there are several opportunities for that. It is so nice to have a beautiful driving range with lots of REAL grass to hit from, clean balls and well equipped. I just love this course and the price is right.
bad carma from pro shop
at the turn, the starter wanted us to wait and let the group of ladies behind us play through. we said NO WAY, we played 10,11 and went to tee off at 12 before we saw the foursome on the 10th fairway. BAD CALL ON THE PRO SHOP!!!
The course is in better shape than normal.
The greens were smoother than normal and rolled out to my estimation to about an 8 on the stimp meter.
Good times
Turkey Creek is a fun opportunity for new and veteran golfers alike. The management takes advantage of Golf now bookings by keeping there times booked up. This allows US to play an outstanding coarse for a bargain price. Thank you T.Creek and thank you G.now. Because of you I have dropped a couple strokes off my game.
Turkey Creek
Great course, challenging for all levels. A little narrow if you don't hit it straight off the tee. Beautiful surroundings, weather was hot but what you expect in Sacramento in the summer. Staff was very friendly.
Best Deal
These guys do it right! Not only is it a great course in a nice setting but their afternoon rates make this worth the drive!
Beautiful course
Beautiful course extremely challenging for a high handicapper like me well maintained only negative was that it was over watered 75 yards and in to the greens. Almost marsh like
Great value for what we paid on Golf Now
This course has great features.
A bit challenging. This course features various hazards such as large boulders, elevation changes, and water hazards. Over all it is a fun course to play. I recommend this course to play.
Hot Day but great golf
I tee'd off at approximately 12:15 on a day where the temp was near 100 at starting time. Course was in great shape and greens putted very true. For playing in the heat of the day there was plenty of shade to hide in. Always a great place to play.
Great Round
I definitely recommend this course. We played for $15 at 4:45 during the summer and got 16 holes in. Definitely could have finished the round if we were not held up by a slow 4-some somewhere ahead of us. Didn't clog up until the last 6 or 7 holes.
But, this makes sense because the course is a bit challenging. Tight fairways make for lost time looking for balls but not in a bad way. Also, the greens were in good shape and had good shape to them.
Overall, great round and highly recommended.
Beat the Heat
Early tee time booked to finish round before July heat, pace of play was great, course maintenance was very good!
Favorite!
Favorite course by FAR! I never play lincoln hills with this gem sitting here.
Shorter Par 4's but not easy
Just love this course a lot. Love the elevation changes on different holes.
Thinking Course - you cannot fall asleep with your game.
The people at Turkey Creek made my experience exceptional. Friendly and very anxious to assist in loading you clubs on a cart to pointing out needed facilities. The course was in great shape considering our CA drought. It was a wonderful day.
Verdant sylvan gem in Lincoln
Turkey Creek is a friendly, yet challenging course. There are open bowls that appear easy, then shots over the water and hidden flags that kept us guessing. It is a rolling green carpet of well-kept fairways and very fast greens. This is a course I look forward to playing over and over again!
