About
Turkey Creek Golf Club in Lincoln sprawls across rolling hills that are covered with mature oak forests. The back nine even closely resembles Germany's Black Forest. The centerpiece of the course is the old granite quarry that was transformed into an expansive lake that comes into play on the third and final holes. The golf course is formidable, testing golfers with blind shots and uneven lies, but the challenges are nicely balanced by long, open fairways. Water comes into play several times throughout as well as the towering trees that blanket the landscape. The course will keep golfers on their toes but there is plenty of visual respite available. Players can often catch a glimpse of the abundant wildlife that call Turkey Creek Golf Club home, including deer, quail, foxes, and of course, wild turkeys.

Golfer Reviews
greens need some luv
Overall, the course was in decent shape and greens were receptive to shots. The greens were very inconsistent with all of the winter weed grasses on some of the greens.
nice course with good variety of holes
we drove from reno to play this course and it never disappoints.will come back later in the season to tee it up again.
Turkey Creek
Played it several times. Course was in good shape. Didn't eat there but the burgers looked great.
Fairways dry and fast
Fairways dry and fast and the greens were not very soft, in fact they were rather hard and approach shots did not always hold. Putting was true, however
Love your course!
This is my favorite course in this area. The staff is very friendly and professional. I can't say enough great things about the staff. This course is a good fit for me also.
Nice course, the greens are faster than other golf courses in the area.
The course design is one of the best, challenging "Dog legs". The greens' surface are a little hard. Fairways are in good conditions.
BMW
Have played this course many times, it is one of my top two courses in the Sacramento area, about a 40 mins from downtown Sacramento. Course is very well maintained, staff and staff services are tops. Front nine is municipal like with open fairways, and limited obstacles. The back nine is "beautiful" if you enjoy playing in a California oak forest with interesting granite outcroppings . It is more challenging, requiring you to select your shots and approaches to the greens.
Great course
Well maintained, great price and beautiful scenery. A few challenging holes with some crazy doglegs, and a very hard 18th but it makes up for it with several hole with long wide fairways. Definitely recommend.
Good course!
I played this course twice in the last week with my dad as I am on break from college. The layout makes for fun and strategic golf. I was very satisfied with the overall quality of the course. The greens are true. The 18th is a very excitin ending. I was shooting for the low 80s yesterday and ended 18 with a snowman for 88. I recommend this course to everybody and will play here again.
Great course yet slow
Fun course. On the short side but still very challenging. Slow, pushing five hour round.
Excellent shape
Fun track, nicely maintained, greens were slow from the previous rainfall but in great condition. Always enjoy the scenery of this course. No two holes a like especially the par threes. Love the huge boulders and the variety of trees as well as the beautiful ponds. Don't miss out on this gem!
Always enjoy Turkey creek, but..
For some reason, they did not let me change the payment method at the course, they said it was prepaid when the receipt emailed to me clearly shows an amount due at the course. I don't really mind paying for it, but when I have free rounds to use up, being charged for it is a little annoying.
Great course but SLOW.
The staff and the course were great, but it was an excruciatingly long round. At one point there were three groups backed up on one hole.
"Enjoyable afternoon @ Turkey Creek"
Many thanks to Scott. Best customer service to start a day of golf. Courteous and informative. He grouped me up with some great and hilarious fellas. It just makes the round enjoyable and relaxing. The course was in great shape (irregardless w/ the drought). A little slow play up front, but Marshals were on it. Some holes are challenging, leading to right club selection. Really a nice designed layout, especially to finish on 18th with the sunset. Pretty spectacular. Bunkers were well equip w/ sand, nice! Greens firm, nice too! Tee box needs just a little work.
Seeding
They seeded the tee boxes, greens and fringe areas. It looks like its the end of the season.
The course is still Top 5 in Sacramento/Auburn/Roseville.
Turkey Creek Golf Lincoln, CA
I played with my wife (18 mos golfing) and a single. This course is always good, plus the staff is friendly! This is my wife's favorites.
