Executive at Las Positas Golf Course

This is a cool course if you want to get out with your buddies.

15 years playing. Single digit handicap.

Tee time 6:34. Didn’t go out until 6:50ish as staff rolled in a little late and didn’t have carts out but wasn’t an issue. It was freezing and the conditions showed with frost everywhere. Was no carts on the fairway til 9am due to conditions but not an issue most days I’m sure. Pace was great, my group of 3 were done before 11. Conditions were better when the sun came, greens were rolling nice then. Some challenging layouts but it played pretty straight forward I thought. Can definitely score well here, my buddy posted 70 with 33 on the front. Great for the value I thought, will play again and may be a new track I frequent.

The TRAPS was amazing. Very surprised but the quality and quantity of sand.

Called a head to reserve a single walk-on. Arrived and paid 35 min. Early. Was practicing putting while waiting for starter to call my name for my T slot. Never called it out. when my TT passed I checked with the starter, who said they sent out another single in my slot! Ugh..!! Need better training between front desk and starter.

The front nine on this course is awful, back nine ok. It's not in good shape

Pace of play was not regulated. Too many walkers that were not keeping pace. Took 6 hours to finish 18 holes. Advised Marshall of situation and received no response or anything from him.

This course is not worth $35. We have so mny better ones in the East Bay

Needed a place to play in Livermore. Found this place that was 5 minutes away from where I had to be at 2:45pm that day. They pro shop employees were nice and helpful. They let me tee off a little early with a 3 some that plays there often, so they could help me execute my way around the course.

It was a very enjoyable day!

Should avoid the cart into fairway - fairway has been damaged because of the rain . Fairway is not flat and cause a lot of trouble to shot good ball
