Executive at Las Positas Golf Course

This course was really nice but difficult to find shots in certain areas that weren’t directly in the fairway. The weather conditions for the few days prior were a little soggy so I can understand how they weren’t worried about cutting the grass with it being wet outside but it has definitely been longer than that since some of the areas had been maintained. It was my first time playing this course and it was my fault more than anything that I wasn’t in the fairway to begin with, but I had more than three shots that were just off in the first cut that could not be found. With that being said there is plenty of other areas where you can pick up more than what you had lost and was overall a nice course. Thanks to the pro shop manager and everyone else at the facility for what you do, will definitely be back and hopefully with more fairways hit in regulation.

This place needs help. Has a decent layout for some challenging play but they need help managing tee times, pace and the course in an absolute mess! Super sloppy, bad drainage, sand is like concrete, greens were actually pretty dang good but tee boxes are neglected, carts suck and mine barely had brakes but were surprisingly fast, seats were all ripped up. I’ll probably try it again when the weather has been good for a long stretch but if it’s at all been wet, I’ll avoid this course.

This course has very poor drainage . There are puddles of water and mud or soggy soil in almost every fairway. Avoid playing this course during winter.

Most bunkers full of water and if not they were caked in mud.

The only good part of the course are the greens. Fairways and tee boxes are in need of grass and TLC..

I played an early afternoon tee time and was paired with a couple of nice guys. We were enjoying the round until we ended up behind a group of 8 players playing the same holes. No tournament but a bunch of teens and at least one adult. No marshall to break them up and apparently other groups were skipping past the group of eight so there was no where to go. Was not able to finish 18 due to this.

Rude Pro Shop workers, poor management. The starter was cool. Delayed about about 20 minutes and the front 9 took 3 hours and 20 minutes. Didn’t once see a Marshall, I understand businesses are trying to make money but I’ll never come back to play a 7 hour round. I left after the 9th very disappointed.

They need a starter and marshals to speed up play. It was extremely slow. We ended up only playing nine. The course continues to have drainage problems. I don't understand how they can have marshy conditions right next to areas that are bone dry.

Course was realy in bad shape was not worth the price 20$ for a cart is insane the restaurant was nice good food thats about it

Went the day before thanksgiving which i understand is going to be a bit busy but the round took 6 HOURS, they had no marshal and spaced the tee times 8 minutes apart. Terrible and greedy management on one of the busiest days of the year. Nice course with a good bar inside but they need to change something up in their management of the course. 2/10 would not recommend.

Staff unorganized. Double booking. Left after nine holes that took 3 1/2 hours, and three groups waiting ahead of us on the tenth. Ridiculous! They need help!

Condition is terrible, and no one told us start from back nine, when we played at nine , staff came to tell us we didn’t follow rule when we are fairway, really uncomfortable

We tee’d off almost an hour after our tee time, course was so backed up, unable to finish 18 holes. We finished 9 holes, and our tee time was at 2:30

Way too expensive for the condition of this course they charged 35 dollar for a cart the pace of play was terrible took 3 hours to finish front nine they pushed out 2soms every 5 min and half the ppl were walking due to price of cart tee boxes were so bad none of them we flat I would never come back to this course

I’ve played this course before but the conditions have completely gone down hill tee boxes were terrible fairways were either dirt or swamp and the pace of play might have been the worst I’ve ever had to deal with 3 hours to play the front nine all 2soms put off every 5 min just ridiculous considering they charged 75 per person with a cart I will personally never be coming back to this course and would tell anyone who asked me the same
