All in all great course to learn on and great course to squeeze a quick round in. The staff is always super friendly and be sure to grab one of their bacon jam cheese burger for lunch!
Fun course to play but greens are rough. Maintenance of this course is the only issue.
Brutal
Wasn't expecting much, but this course is in tragic shape. Worth about $10.00 per round at most. You're better off just going to a driving range.
Nor happy
But this course was charged $11 went to the course the total should have been $60 ended up paying $83 with the $11 fee from golf now not satisfied course was horrible duck poop on the course sprinkler's wet my bag my phone and our golf carts very unfriendly course was not well taken care of couldn't cancel prior to going there Wasn't sure what was going on with consolation wouldn't let me not happy might not use this app any more and go to that course as well

Great 9 hole course for morning walk/play. Staff is friendly, course is fun & pins change regularly to keep it fresh.
Good course
Overall like the course. Some areas of the course have some nasty puddles.
Not bad
First time playing this course and I was impressed with conditions. Alondra is definitely one of the nicer county courses. A few dry spots and some of the tee boxes need some work but the greens are well kept. Play was a bit slow but overall a good experience.
Hitting of Dirt all the time
I mean, where do I start. The course is super bad, you’re hitting off dirt A LOT. $20 for 9 holes?! For this? I mean really?? On top of that, the white guy working the clubhouse is an absolutely asshat. Just the least friendly guy. Dude really sucks. Get a new clubhouse manager or whatever he is. I will not be back because of him and the course conditions. Fix the greens.

Once fun, now it's poorly maintained
I've been playing at Bixby Village all through COVID and the conditions this last weekend were atrocious. The bunkers are hard packed and covered in weeds, the fairway wasn't maintained and the greens were suuuuuper slow. My whole group agreed we can't see ourselves coming back, which is a shame since we'd liked playing there and the value for the money was great.

Bunkers like concrete
I'm not kidding. The so-called "sand" is so old and compacted that I and others have confessed that they have been injured trying to get out of any of Bixby's bunkers. Something needs to be done to prevent any more injuries. I have played this course off and on for over 25 years. Thank you

Fun to play
I have been playing occasionally on Tuesdays since October 2020. I have liked the course and have seen it improve. The greens roll smooth and true. What kind of grass is it? I asked at the pro shop and no one knew. The Pro Shop staff and course staff are always friendly. Bixby is a good course and one my regulars.
