Great course, no micro-punch/aerate discount

Best public greens in the bay. Fun and challenging layout.

Here’s the catch….any tee time after 8am will take 5-6 hours. Before 8am, its like golf in 2005. Before 8am this is my favorite course, after 8am its not worth the time.

The marshalls do nothing. Ive playes 80 rounds at Corica over the past year - Ive never seen a marshall address slow groups in a meaningful way. The marshalls are con artists and Patel is ok so long as he keeps bring in money. The ownership acts like karma isnt real, he also plays a bs malbon bag like the pretentious fool he is. Hope karma catches up to him and his family

Sincerely,

A golfer whos played corica since 97, and still plays 3x a week.

Management “created” a 7:35 AM tee time for the Alameda Elite

Alameda Illuminati is real. Corica has 10 minute tee times until they don’t want to. This is why this course is 6 hours people…!

Starter barks out tee times loudly: 7:00, 7:10, 7:20, 7:30.

We get to our time, 7:40, and as we walk up to the Starter he says “We have a 7:35 AM tee time”

We inquire as to why, we get no answer.

We joke about how slow the course gets.

Starter barks back, “It’s a Public Course, you need to expectations”.

So we cannot have expectations that Corica will uphold their tee time sheet, but the moment you ask, it’s sit down and shut your mouth.

This isn’t new. Founders run this place. Might as well be private, oh wait, they want the City’s Money too.

Hope the Starter enjoys his free golf, the injected 5 minute tee times whenever Management wants should more than pay for it.

Steve88

It’s a links style golf course with enough tease for every level of player. The black tees or back tees are over 6800 yards but it doesn’t play that long because the fairways roll out so good. There are some really beautiful golf holes and very challenging, but that just adds to the overall experience. It is almost always windy out there, especially on the back nine if you tee off in the morning, but again it reminds me of being out on a British Open type golf course.

Course is in great shape, but pace can be managed better

The course was great, greens are looking amazing.

But 5.5 hour rounds should result in slow groups being removed from the course.

If you cant make it through the front 9 in less thqn 2hr 15m, you should be asked to leave. Probably wont happen but it would solve for slow pace.

Very nice course, but a little to expensive for a public course. On course staff friendly, but inside the pro shop not friendly at all.

Great value

Greens are immaculate and very difficult. Fairways and tee boxes are also good, they look brown but they are fine. Course layout is nothing exceptional, but solid.

Value for price probably best in the Bay Area.

Great track

Great course to walk and very tough greens. Slope rating seems off as in too low for how hard it is. I will come back. Everyone was very helpful that works there. Will recommend to others for sure. Hope the north opens soon.

6 hour rounds shouldn’t be a thing

I love this course but they manage it very poorly. The Marshalls sit out there and watch groups backing up the course as they take 20+ minutes on each hole and do nothing about it.
