18th hole, I tried to play it safe to the left, ended up in a bunker. Unfair Photo submitted by u000005262087 on 01/05/2020

Beautiful bayside course Photo submitted by u000001344650 on 07/30/2018
putting challenge
Corica is a links style course with almost no trees to navigate off the tee. I'd call this primarily a 2nd shot course although one needs to position their drive for the best approach. The numerous bunkers are well placed and in good condition. The greens are firm and fast so irons need to be well struck well to hold the greens and balls kept below the hole and on the same section of the green as the hole location. Putting is very challenging from any location however. This course rewards good golf skills.
Nice course, but probably won't play here again
Very busy with the 3 courses there. I was disappointed by the lack of an air compressor to blow all the debris off my cart. Clubhouse and bar are nice. It's a little far for me so i'm unlikely to return.
Beautiful course
Great course which was fair. It had rained all morning but the fairways drained pretty well. There were a few swampy spots, otherwise it was fine. Bunkers were hard due to the rain. Overall, I will definitely be back!
Great shape right after a storm
Fast greens as always and dry despite overnight storm.
Country club greens for muni prices
Get private country club caliber greens for public course prices here. These greens are a fast, undulating roller coaster of a ride and the course has far better drainage than courses in SF and Oakland, meankng your ball still runs out after a few days of rain.
A good variety of lengths on the par 3s, 4s, and 5s make this a fun course.
A few tips:
- you're better short than long here most of the time.
- watch out for the lake on #10. You're better off with a lay up.
- the fairway bunkers can be rather penal with steep faces, avoid at all costs. With wide fairways and holes right next to one another, you're better off in the next fairway than a fairway bunker.
- 9 times out of 10, you need one more club than you think on #5 and #16, two into-the-wind par 3s.
Best course in the Bay Area after rain
Drains so well and the underlying course base absorbs so much moisture. Very few soggy spots and the greens were immaculate. The course had no internet connectivity so they let us play and come back to make payments later. Great staff, great course. Can’t wait for the North Course to open!
First time playing. Impressed at layout and quality of course.
