Corica Park south

It's a good links style course with fast undulating greens. Since it's relatively short, the focus is getting the ball on to the right tier to reduce 3 putts

Best in East Bay

Corica South a true 18 hole challenge. Tee boxes were perfectly flat, fairways in great shape and greens were nice. Only bit of feedback on the greens is that it seems that the head greenskeeper is not a golfer. We were 2nd group out at 7:00 on a Monday, there un-repaired ballmarks across all of the greens. Based on the 5 star experience the course had provided an all other aspects it seems the person in charge of greens needs to get the staff out of their vehicles and have them to on foot work. I’m still giving Corica a 5 star review as I paid $70 for a wonderful morning of 18 holes of golf in 4 hrs. On the back 9 there also are several holes where eucalyptus trees have hanging branches in the fairway / need to be trimmed back big time. I’ll be back and enjoyed my round.

Great course

Toughest greens in the Bay Area - great shape and a challenge to play . A bit over priced but a must play.

Horrendously overpriced for the quality

Friday is weekend rate.. so I ended up paying $109 for a Friday AFTERNOON round

Condition was meh at best, and the only way that price would have been fair were if it were a Saturday 10am tee time for a course of that quality.

I honestly don’t see myself returning here any time soon.

Very Challenging Greens

The course is fairly open but its protection are the difficult-to-read greens. The speed and undulations make for a very difficult course. It took me half the round to figure out that you had to double the break you read and lag putting is your friend. But that's also the fun...knowing what parts of the greens to aim at. The other defense of this course is the winds coming off the bay. Choose your ball flight and club carefully. That said, fun, fun, fun.

Great course layout and very well maintained greens

Corica Park South course is a great course. It has been maintained very well. The greens are fast and breaks are not tricky (what you see is what they are). The cart path is a few inches below the fairway which makes driving the cart on to the fairway a bit of a challenge. In some holes if you hit the ball onto another fairway, using the cart to get onto the other fairway a challenge. Pace of play is slow and it is priced slightly high.
