Nothing special
I had heard the south course was really nice, challenging, upscale post remodel.
Nahhh… nothing to get excited about.
Brown fairways and most tee boxes following the wettest season possible.
It’s a very wide open layout for the most part.
Low handicaps can handle it easily from the tips.
I wasn’t overly impressed even with a more reasonable green fee structure.
Greens were in great shape and provide a strong test
There are lots of differing shape greens and they all test ones putting skills.
They Don't Know What They're Doing.
Like to be greeted in the Pro Shop with narcissistic displeasure? Hilarious. Your course is not that prestigious, calm down. Not welcoming patrons and refusing to stop your concersation with a "Founder" long enough to check you in is downright comical. Skip the poor experience.
Like to wait and watch the greens being cut at 8:30 AM on a Saturday instead of playing? Then this is your place. They create their own 6 hours rounds by slowing the early groups down by working while golfers should be playing. And don't even try to wave yourself through, their employees have priority and you wait. That's The Corica Way.
Go to Baylands instead, they have achieved Muni greatness where Corica failed. And failed miserably.
The slowest of slow
I had a 6 hour round on a Monday. It doesn’t matter how beautiful the course is or how well maintained. The round is ruined when the staff does absolutely nothing about slow play. 0/10 would not recommend.
Consistent greens
Not an easy course if you don't hit it straight off the tee.
2nd time since remodel
Very nice course. Not an extremely hard course if the winds are light. Greens are probably the best thing about this course. Rough can be a challenge. Looking forward to playing the North course once they’re finished with its remodel.
Skip it don’t waste your time
Wow. 5hr 15 min round at 10am in a Wednesday. Course condition- this place has gone downhill. Greens- punched with sand- no mention of this while getting a tee time or in the pro shop- still charged full fee.
Pace of play- horrible. Seniors playing white tees hitting the ball 25-30 yards. Everyone watching one person hit. No concept of ready golf.
Marshall came out to to apologize on hole 14.
