Monterey Pines Golf Club

I have been playing at this golf course for several years. The overall condition of the course was pretty good but the greens had just been punched and it would have been nice to get a heads up.

Better than we expected. Nice fairways and greens.

I always enjoy playing here and it's a great place for anybody at any skill level to play at.

Staff was friendly and courteous from the beginning. A snafu with our reservation was straightened out and we received a better deal. Course was excellent and challenging to our handicap level. A gem in the Monterey Bay. Thanks again Monterey Pines!

The pace of play was a little slow. We were a threesome and caught a foursome in less than three holes. At about the fifth hole a Marshall showed up and said he would say something to them and the proceeded to drive in a completely different direction. The pace never picked up and it should never take 5 hours to play a par 69.

They did a good job rebuilding the Monterey Pines GC. Relatively short but very firm greens. Nice layout and a lot of fun.

Was with a forsome and had a great time. Nice weather and the greens are in good shape and speed.

Great facility in Monterey. Track isn't the longest you'll face in the Peninsula however it's very challenging for the novice golfer. Excellent conditions, manicured fairways and greens with some character. Had a local join our twosome and was quick to provide his course knowledge. "Come on Roger!". Best bang for that hard-earned buck!

I have played many rounds of golf since the remodel.
Each round has been challenging which is just right for my game, I am a senior and enjoy it each round I've played.

I liked playing on this course, because it is not very difficult if you play on fairway, but eventhough it is not boring. It is perfect for intermediate and beginner golfer, they can also enjoy it. It is lokated close to a small airport but it was not disturbing.
The staff was very kind and helpful.

Good value. Friendly Staff. Good course conditions. I would recommend this course.

Our golf outings was very good. Course was in good shape and pace of play was good as well. I will play again.

Fun, open course with some drivable par 4's. Well-kept and good value. Walk it-it's a short, flat course. Definitely recommend!

This course relatively flat; fairways green and good condition. Green fee reasonable. Course not huge challenge for gifted golfers but most of us aren't in that category. Lots of coots near water hazards. Sometimes noisy with corporate commercial jets departing adjacent airport but not significant issue for me. Easy access off hwy 1 in Monterey near fairgrounds. My brother and I pleasantly surprised at course condition considering drought. Overall good deal.

Great course, if I lived in the area I would make this my home course.

A perfect walking course. Enjoyed in many aspects.
Green condition could be improved, then it will be very challenging.

This was my 5th round at this facility and it never changes. Very nice facility, friendly and professional employees, grounds very well kept (except the occasional mud hen), equipment in excellent condition and other players are quite congenial. I felt very welcome at the Pro Shop. I will play this course whenever I am in the Monterey area.
