twilight zone.
The course was in very good condition and the greens were excellent.. With all the fires going on, it was like golfing in dusk type conditions all 18 holes. The smoke completely blocked out the sun.

Great early morning golf

Needs improvement
I heard that work had been done on the course and decided to play there after a few years. The greens were in good shape but extremely slow. The fairways need a lot of work. For average conditions too expensive. I'l wait till the conditions are better before playing there again.

Hardest Course in the South Bay
The most challenging putting. Well manicured greens and the fairways will get in much better condition after the rain comes.
They have new carts with computers to track your game play music off your phone and of course range finder.

Not Handicap Friendly
Being handicapped I asked about access to the fairways and greens and was told that all were accessible except #7, a short flat fairway I found some other holes were roped off and only accessible by walking. A very tiring and disappointing experience.

US Open Greens!
Enjoyable course to play and highly recommend. Got a great deal using GolfNow. Some holes are spotty fairways or under GUR but tees and greens are excellent! looks like they redid most if not all their greens and front cut. I hope they are able to maintain these awesome greens as they can be one of the best in the area. Lines are true and greens are very fast. most greens have tiers and undulation therefore read your line carefully. 3 putting is common on this course. Staff (ambsssador and snack bar) we very friendly. Marshall on the course helped us when our balll went into the lake and keeps the geese off the fairway. This course has the BEST golf carts in california. Top of line electric carts with seats made like LazyBoy chairs. Each cart is equip with yardage screens, scoring and snack shack menu. Had a great time and will make the effort to play again soon!

Awesome Staff and Ramen!
As it is said the worse day on the golf course is better than the beat day at work and this day was no different! I left my golf game somewhere so if anyone finds it please let me know! On arrival the staff was friendly and was very conscious of Covid protocols from wearing masks to single carts per golfer unless same household! The course recently had a little work done but overall a great challenging course with some wide open drives and great views from the top! The staff at the bar/restaurant kept it going with the great service that started on checkin! The Ramen they serve is on point and a great topper to a day out on the course! I tip my hat to the chef and the staff they were all fantastic!

Sad
It’s sad to see a course that has a ton of potential in this shape. They spray painted a circle in the middle of a fairway and stuck a pin in it and called it a par three. Stay away at all costs, tons of munis in NorCal to play that are worlds better than this place.

Golf carts
Please synchronize carts meticulously and improve signage where off limits for carts.
Maneuvering the carts backwards too dangerous when near creek or creek or higher grounds.
Please have RAMEN DISH everyday.
Please have mid grade CAVERNET .$50-60 range

Better than before, still a lot to improve
Better than before. Tee boxes and greens are in much better shape now. Fairways and around greens still need improvements. Renovation seems still work in progress. Hopefully, it will get better.

A good value
As SP is making a comeback, I can see that when done the course will be in the best condition in over 10-years. Its always challenging, never a flat lie!
