Summitpointe Golf Course

Started the round w/ a bang - perfect 6 iron down the middle, A wedge from 122 to 6 feet, and made my right to left breaking birdie putt. Got very windy by the 2nd hole, and by the 3rd, we were waiting each hole between 5 and 10 minutes. Round took over 5 hours, which is too long for this course. Too many groups out on the course and groups played slowly. I've played much faster rounds here and much better conditions.

Summitpointe is in terrible condition. Bad lies in fairway, rough is like a waste area, and greens were beat up with many unrepaired ball marks. Tee boxes were not level and badly beat up.

The front 9 was closed, Stacked up 10th. Greens were bad, dry areas on the fairways..

I hadn’t played this course in a long time. I was looking forward to the treacherous greens that I remembered. Alas, the course has lost its luster.

Evidently, the previous owners ran this place in to the ground. They are trying to bring it back. Unfortunately, it has a long way to go. The greens and fairways are in bad shape but the course is a great layout with the potential to be a great value. I will wait until that happens to return though.

No fairway and no green.

If you just want to practice a shot, go to driving range. This course is not under management.

Crystal clear winner as the very WORST golf course I have played in my 25 year golfing history.

It is not worth it even if it is a FREE round of golf.

That says it all. This is my #1 favorite course. Challenging for all skill levels, elevation changes, decent but a little slow fairway and greens & a great views. All for $25. That being said, pace of play can be slow but other reviews complaining about slow play? What do you expect from cheap golf. Stop whining. Tucked behind the foothills of Milpitas, it feels like you're far away from city limits. Personally, my favorite thing is that it's dog friendly. At least they don't say anything when my dog caddie rides in the cart. When I can't find my ball, I look at my dog and he says, "ruff!" Good boy...

I like this course, but very challenge.I will play this course again.

Horrible conditions

More brown grass then green there was 8 players on one team yes 4 carts full no one bothered them even after we complained was so slow I stoped at hole 13 was so bad I do not recommend this course

I usually don’t leave any feedback or review. I don’t know what kind of golfers are giving one star reviews, this is not your private country club. The fairways are decent and I was in one of the bunker and the sand was packed from over watering. The golf course is in overall good shape conditions, the greens are nice and not too fast. I enjoy playing this challenging golf course and will be returning to play more rounds.

Terrible course condition. Can’t put to words how bad all of the fairways and most of the greens are.

Water puddles and GURs are everywhere.

PLEASE DO NOT trust the 4-5 stars review. I have zero doubt that these reviews are from their staff. I asked a staff about the course condition right before checking in, and that person has the audacity to tell me that the course is in “great” condition.

It’ll be a long while til I want to play here again.

Great course lay out. What a waste...

The course is in terrible condition, it’s been a while since I’ve played this track. And it was way better a couple years ago. The greens are bumpy, patchy, and dry, the fairways are patchy and need water. The course needs a good grounds attendant to make this track worth playing at. I will never play here again.

Fairways are awful. Weeds everywhere.

Management charged my extra for a cart fee even tho my reservation clearly said cart fee was included

Conditions are comparable to a course that was shut down for weeks
