Great Golf, great value
It’s been very hot and I imagine that is why the greens were left a little bit taller heads, a little slower. Other than that, courses and great shape. If it was closer, I would do it more often.
Beautiful
Absolutely beautiful course well maintained so happy I played this course
Great Facility
The course and the practice areas are always in great shape. One of my favorite places to play golf.
Slow greens terrible bunkers
The course is overall good bunkers are terrible cant even play out of them full of rocks it was like chipping off concrete awful and the greens were the slowest they have ever been you had to hit the putt so hard there was no consistency at all wont be back for a while
Timber Creek
I was a single who joined a threesome, all good guys and the pace of play was excellent as we were done in 3 1/2 hours. Overall the course is well maintained as conditions were great !
Beautiful stretched out course
First time playing. Hope to return. Houses on course where guite open. Even this left handed slicer didn’t break any . As others have mentioned sand traps are rock hard. Overall an excellent day.
Course Conditions
The course was in great condition! The only problem was that the hacks that play golf don’t have the courtesy to repair their ball marks on the green. There was three of us in our group and we all fixed 2 to 3 ball marks on the green on every green. The unfortunate part is that Timber Creek just got done aerating the greens and they should be in great condition, other than the HACKS!!!!
Course is in great shape!
Had a great day out at Timber. One of my favorite courses in the area. Greens are playing average. Could be a little bit faster, but not really a complaint. Just an observation. Due to a tournament we started on the back 9 first. Actually not a bad routing. Bunkers need a little bit of love but overall not bad. Great day out!
Excellent golf course!
This course is well maintained The fairway is great and the green is very nice. Sand traps could be better though.
Challenging course
Front 9 had plenty water hazards with wide fairways and back 9 with narrow fairways and trees
No sand in bunkers
Top Notch
Real classy joint! The starter was great, pro shop was great. I got paired up with 3 other guys. We all had our own cart, awesome! Good group of dudes too. Not stuffy or pretentious. It’s like 2 different courses between front and back 9. Turkeys, jackrabbits, hummingbirds, etc….amazing practice green, huge. Highly recommended
Always a Solid Choice!
For those in the Greater Roseville area - Timbercreek is always a solid choice. The course is moderately difficult and always in good condition.
The front nine is a typical 'Del Webb' experience with fairways and greens wrapped within single-story homes. The back nine offers multiple tree-lined fairways.
Our most recent round provided excellent weather and a great pace of play with only a marginal challenge of greens having been recently punched. The pro shop staff has never been overly enthusiastic, but post-round amenities are excellent.
Timber Creek is always a good place to play
Timber Creek golf course is one of my favorite tracks in the Sacramento area and probably the best maintained of any public course. First nine is mostly wide-open with a few water hazards and the second nine the fairways are a bit narrower tree lined fairways. The first cut rough, especially around the greens, is outstanding unlike many other public course the rough at Timber Creek is well maintained and consistent as opposed to many other courses where you have mixed clumps of grass and dirt resulting in unfair lies. The greens are a bit slow would be better to be a tad faster. They have really good practice facilities recently refurbished, including a chipping area with a sand trap although the sand trap in the chipping area was not well-maintained. The staff is always outstanding and friendly, especially the starter at the first tee.
Great course
This is my favorite course in the greater Sacramento area.
