Awesome 9 Course!
Great course and super kept up. The fairways were wide open for the most part. The greens were beautiful!
Soggy course
Course was over watered and very soggy fairways and around the greens. Had to play winter rules in the summer.
Sierra Pines
Always enjoyable and always in great condition. Highly recommend.

Beautiful fairway conditions. Not over watering.
A few brown spots which is normal for course conditions in a hot weather area. No reason to make a swamp (Woodcreek City of Roseville).
When Jack Nicklaus visits a course he has designed
He wants to see a tinge of brown mixed in the green.
There is a difference between keeping a lawn versus a golf fairway. Unfortunately we have to many course supers that are landscapers versus greens keepers.

They had punched the greens three days before my round. Though the putts rolled on bumpy terrain, all the greens were consistent with how the ball reacted to the aerification and it was quite easy to judge the speed of the putts on each green. There was a two-some, three groups ahead of me, playing as a single, and they took longer to play their shots which caused a single, and a two-some ahead of me to gave to continually wait for them from hole six onward, when I also caught up and had to wait. In my opinion, this is the best nine hole layout in the greater Sacramento area. Nice track and I highly recommend.

The staff here is amazing and the course is always in great shape!
Sierra Pines course conditions
They still have a hard time preventing bare spots on the fairways. They do seem to be doing a better job recently repairing ball marks on the greens, though.
Monday 9 with my Grandson (15)
Played 9 after 2:00 with my Grandson
He 15 and has the Youth on Course App
I made my tee time thru GolfPass and then called Sierra Pines to add my Grandson.
I checked in and paid the Youth on Course rate 5.00
We had a good time walking 9 holes and will be back.
Some fairways mowed too short
Some of the middle of several fairways cut so short we were hitting off dirt.
Slow pace
Played Friday afternoon and was behind a fivesome. Very slow, don’t understand why there was a fivesome playing 430?? Super frustrating and staff didn’t care.
Beautiful Course
Great 9 hole course. The grass was a little long, but the fairway and greens were in excellent condition.
Rare 9-Hole Find
Only second REGULATION 9-Hole golf course I've ever seen/played in 4-years of golfing. After first two holes, it opens up to a generous layout.
Grat if you're only have 2-3 hours to play.
