About
Dubsdread Golf Course is a popular choice for beginning and intermediate golfers. Designed in 1923, it is the oldest public course in the Orlando area. The course is tight with a short, traditional layout that features "postage stamp" style greens that are heavily bunkered. There are also elevated greens that are slightly sloped. Dubsdread Golf Course's fairways are narrow and there are also water hazards that come into play on some holes. One particularly difficult water hazard comes into play on the 12th hole, which is a par 3 that requires a tee shot to a green that is well protected by bunkers.

Challenging course
This course is very busy. A 3-par green has an unfair slope to the water even if you are on the green you will have to fish your ball out of the water on either side of the green. The greens were fast and if your ball is on the side that is above the hole it was difficult to only 2 putt. There are many senior tees which is white there, that are over 365 for a 4 par hole. Narrow fairways with water makes it difficult for average golfers to not lose many balls. The driving range has mounds to hit to and water that shows how far your water ball goes on a fly. I did not remember the tee time and the man said I was 1 hour early and no place to join, yet I saw several 3 some's that I could have joined. I ended up playing with last group that was 3 single players. They were nice and I enjoyed their company. I played from the white tees and shot 10 over. The other 2 guys shot in the 100's but still had balls to go home with, so they were happy.
Medicare course
I wouldn’t play here again. The course is average at best. Tee boxes are too close to some of the greens. Just not a very nice course.
Very slow play
At one point there were 4 groups on a tee box. I called the pro shop to let them know. They said they would address the issue but they didn’t. Made the round much less enjoyable at a beautiful course on a great weather day.
Quality Vourse
Second time I have played this course, one factor was very interesting.
Green speed Monday was lightning fast.
Wednesday considerably slower.

Lots of reasons to come back.
A few balls to use on the range at no additional cost, very friendly and helpful staff, fun course and good restaurant.
Plays longer than yardage states.
Played back tees, only just under 6200 yds but played like 6500, I’m sure the cool weather had to do with it. Gets really fast. Fairways pretty wide.
A Nice Course To Play
I enjoyed playing this course. It's in good shape and some challenging holes. It's a good golf value.
