Situated within the Santa Ana Riverbed, River View Golf Course is conveniently located just minutes from Disneyland, Anaheim, and Long Beach. The course's design intertwines with the river, providing challenging hazards on several holes. The narrow layout also features elevated greens that rarely offer a flat lie and are fiercely guarded by sand. Accuracy is a necessity throughout this golf course. Although it offers a fair amount of challenges, there is also ample room off the tees that makes the course more accessible for beginners. River View G.C. is also popular for its practice facilities, which include a driving range with targets and the county's largest putting course. While the other facilities may be modest, River View offers an affordable game that is one of Orange County's best values.

Its what you would expect for price
Besides the terrible pace at this course it was quite enjoyable. We were stuck in about a 4-5 cart backup on hole 4. This is mainly because they allowed a group of 8 out right before sending 3 more groups out. Wouldn't have been that big of an issue if there was space behind to play slower, but when you have a huge line you start to hurry yourself.
For a light rainy day course was in as good as shape as you could ask for.
Course flooded
Thirty percent of entire course is flooded with Santa Ana River water forcing course staff to shorten 18 holes to 9 holes.
Not a good time to play now.
Wash out
Booked the regular course on line. Drove an bhour and a half to be told it was closed because of all the rain. Short executive course 9 holre was open. Should not have been rough shape. There should be notification after booking on the closure or they should not be allowed to post times. Very frustrating.
Amazing Course Layout!!!
Played on a Wednesday starting at 10:15am and finished 2:30pm (4 hours 15 minutes) First time playing here and really enjoyed the course layout. Big elevation changes and some blind shots into higher greens. Putting area is really nice and they have a 18 hole putting course. Will def come again!
