The 18-hole Club at Osprey Cove Golf Club in Saint Marys, Georgia is a private golf course that opened in 1990. Designed by Mark McCumber, The Club at Osprey Cove Golf Club measures 6791 yards from the longest tees and has a slope rating of 132 and a 72.9 USGA rating. The course features 4 sets of tees for different skill levels.
Osprey Cove is renowned for being the best course in southern Georgia. It is golf course that Golf Digest has labeled it as a “Must play if you are within 100 miles” The course is designed around a wild life preservation area amongst the tidal inlets and pristine marshes of the St. Mary's River and features incredible views out across the marshes from many holes. In any estimation this is a premier course, a gorgeous rendition of southern coastal golf.
The next time you are heading to the Jacksonville area or are just rolling South on I-95 to a Florida destination, take this short 2 mile diversion at the last Georgia exit (Exit #1) and give Osprey Cove a try!

Osprey Cove
I play this course every time I am in the area and have for the last 20 years.
Greens are in great shape!
Hidden Gem
Osprey Cove is a fantastic golf course. It os well maintained and the cart guy Jackie is the nicest guy you will meet. I played in the afternoon for under $20. Such a steal.
My brother flew in and forgot his left handed driver. The staff searched and found him one to use. Great service!

Having been in the golf business for 40 plus years you can see the expense that was put into this development. Must play for any golfer
How far to the hole????
Way too many 1- and 2-somes! The groups ahead that have 3 or 4 players obviously are aware of this and "WILL NOT" acknowledge you refuse to let you play through so ... Hotdogs were $6 plus (and was told plus a gratuity), come on!!!! The price of the golf was cheap, including the cart, but the pace of play and price for a dog make this a no go for me in the future. The restaurant is for people way better off financially then me. Lastly, how bad are the score cards and signs at the holes? Having never played this course it would be nice to see the hole layout and not the mention yardages. I had no idea of how far i was on the majority of the holes; geewiz how about a 150 yard marker somewhere in the fairway. So if you live there you probably like it the course, but i bet not love it. So i rate "ALL" the other courses around there better, period, no question!!!!!
Course was in excellent shape & staff was friendly. You couldn't ask for better weather.

Great course. Great range area. Staff was not rushing us to begin our round. We did have a group that decided to skip s hole and leap ahead
WOW!
This was my first time playing here and it has jumped to my top 5 favorite courses to play! Loved everything about this course. Greens are small and do require accurate shot to get on. Was a windy day and the fairways still help a pushed or pulled shot from the tee box. Will certainly be coming back soon. You can only get on the course after noon, as the course is semi private, only open to the public after 12. Worth a hot afternoon to play here. Loved it!

Beautiful
Beautiful course, wide forgiving fairways, soft & fast greens. Course layout is spread throughout a community, it can be confusing to navigate, scorecard should include a map.
Awesome!
Wide fairways and true rolling greens. Played a threesome at midday and didn't see anyone in front of us for 18 holes. Finished in 3 hours. There are some really nice views when playing along the marsh. The drive was only 35 minutes from the middle of Jacksonville. I will be back here again if the tee times are available on GN.

I am sorry to hear that you did not enjoy your round with us. We try our best to pair up singles and twosomes, but ultimately it is up to the group if they would like to play together. We do have yard markers at 100, 150, and 200 yards in the fairway.
