Great Course
The staff are amazing, the course is always evolving for the best...
Greens
Over all played this course many times, greens were always terrible, well their working on the greens and their getting much better !
Laurel Island
Course for the most part was in great condition. A couple greens showed some seasonal distress but nothing to take away from playability.
Great shape and Pace of Play
Course was in great shape. Greens a little spotty but a great day for our foursome.
Just OK
They have definitely put some money into the course as the tees, fairway, hole markings are in much better shape than in past years. The greens however are showing signs of trouble and need some serious attention. I am somewhat biased in that I have never favored the layout in that I find the par 3's boring and too many of the par fours being pitch and putt holes. .
Course
The course itself is in good shape , but they have green work to take care of then the course will be great , but quite a bit of green work .
Challenging and in great shape right now!
I played this course once before during the Winter months and it has improved significantly. Fairways are in great shape, and the large tee boxes make it easy to find a nice spot to tee off. The greens are in really good shape, and looks like they can only get better with the nice weather. Some fairways are pretty tight to make it a good challenge, as well as some longer on average, Par 3's than other courses. The only complaint you can give this course is the Cart path's could use some renovations, but that seems to be the case in most public courses around Northeast FL.
Course was ok
Course layout was good but greens were spotty and dried up. Fairways were cut short for long rolls. Overall not too bad but not worth the money
Lowsey staff
The staff here is totally unprofessional. I brought a guest and paid for them to play and we were kicked out of the club for not having 2 bags. The greens are garbage and the fairway might as well be rough. Lowsey staff, Lowsey course. Horrible people. Pete and Tom need training.
