The 18-hole Club at Osprey Cove Golf Club in Saint Marys, Georgia is a private golf course that opened in 1990. Designed by Mark McCumber, The Club at Osprey Cove Golf Club measures 6791 yards from the longest tees and has a slope rating of 132 and a 72.9 USGA rating. The course features 4 sets of tees for different skill levels.
Osprey Cove is renowned for being the best course in southern Georgia. It is golf course that Golf Digest has labeled it as a “Must play if you are within 100 miles” The course is designed around a wild life preservation area amongst the tidal inlets and pristine marshes of the St. Mary's River and features incredible views out across the marshes from many holes. In any estimation this is a premier course, a gorgeous rendition of southern coastal golf.

Awesome as Always
Caroline at the pro shop is the most courteous and always makes our group feel welcome. Course was aerated but was not an issue
Great Track
Love this place. Very golfer friendly course. Always in tip top shape. Greens are still a little hard bc they’re only 1 year old but PURE!!!!! They are aerating June 10th so cant wait to see how the greens hold after this.
Beautiful course few issues
The greens were way to hard of a surface. They putted very nicely and true breaks just would not hold shots as they should. Many of the tee box’s were (approx 6) laid out incorrectly, and had been chewed up due to excessive play, without re-positioning them periodically. It is a beautiful course, the superintendent just needs to address a few issues. I enjoyed the people and the course.
First time but will be many times to come
I was on my way from NC to Tampa for work. Decided to play and found this place on Golfnow. What a gem! I didn't play as well as I would like but it is NOT the fault of the golf course. In fact, it was a fun, challenging track with lots of variations. The course is NOT boring at all, with several holes in the front and back nine wrapping up with spectacular views of the marshes. I will definitely come back again. Course condition, fairways, and greens, were just perfect for May.
First time but will be back
Wonderful course. Generous fairways and areas around greens but you need to be on the right side of the pin because the greens are really firm and tough to get up and down if you short side yourself. I think they just redid the greens and maybe they are not really mature. That is the only reason I did not rate this a 5 star
Nice
New greens still very firm but should be fixed in June. Overall course in very good condition and fun to play. Staff always very friendly. Nice practice area and range balls included in price.
Just fix the bunkers
Course was great, with the exception of the bunkers. Many bunkers were hard as rock. If sand is not going to be added, a serious raking/tilling would help
New greens
Greens new, smooth and very firm. Should soften with age. More breaks than old greens. We were a twosome, played in 3 hours.
Great course, better bunkers
Everything was spot on, except the bunkers. Many of the bunkers were hard as rock. Not to diminish anything else, it’s by far the best deal in Camden County.
Greens are all good
Overall the course is in great shape, except for one set of tees, which were chewed up.

Greens were fast, but fair. Greatest deal on golf in town. 5 stars

Ever since golf now books Osprey Cove, it’s the best deal in town
Good time at Osprey
Had a great time playing. Pace of play was great. Course was in really good condition. Some of the tees weren't the greatest, but whatever. They were slit seeding the fairways which didn't bother anything. Greens were smooth and hard, not overly fast or slow. Will definitely play again. Range balls included with fees was a bonus. Friendly staff.

One of the finest courses to play in Georgia. Greens are quick but playable. I will definitely play again.
Nice course
Very nice course at a very good price. New greeens are firm and in great shape. I you like to practice, free range balls and short game practice area. Nice clubhouse where you can sit outside and enjoy views of 9 and 18 green. Variety of tees make it playable for everyone. Wide fairways but well protected greens. Can’t wait to play again
beautiful course
Overall a very nice course, only negative was the greens where very hard. shoots on the green would often bounce off.
