Tahoe Paradise Golf Course

About
Situated within the woodlands of the Sierra Nevada Mountains, Tahoe Paradise Golf Course has a hilly landscape covered with towering pines. This short, tight golf course is filled with challenges including tight, narrow fairways and smooth, fast greens. The fairways are also lined with trees and thick cuts of rough and some of there is an occasional sloped green. Tahoe Paradise Golf Course's par-4 holes are said to have severe dogleg fairways and water hazards come into play on two holes. The picturesque scenery provides a relaxing break from the challenges of the golf course. One of the most scenic holes is the par-3 14th with a spectacular view of Mt. Tallac and the surrounding peaks.

First timer
A friend and I made the short drive from Gardnerville to Tahoe Paradise. It was our first time and certainly not our last. The course layout made us think about our shot more than we normally do, which was awesome! A great course to work on your iron game and distance control. If you have the opportunity to check this place out be sure to do so!
Come to Paridise
What a fun course to play. This is wide open most of the time. You do not have to compete with the limited amount of courses close bye. Also way less $$ to play. Great staff. It’s the perfect size course for a 36 hole day.
Short, Tough Course
Distances on the scorecard do not do it justice. Bring plenty of balls. If your not a straight hitter this course will be extremely difficult. Small fairways and greens are the general rule. It's built on the side of a mountain, accordingly 90% of your shots are severely uphill, downhill or sidehill. Your first time playing the course leaves you wondering what club to hit. It's in good shape, the greens are fast and will hold good shots. Play it once if you would like a challenge, then decide if you will try it again.
$25 per person cart fee
The $25 per person shared cart fee is a bit expensive. Especially since this is not a par 72 course.
Slot Shooting Golf
Very narrow driving and narrow fairways, loved it. Par 3s very challenging as well. Hope to get another shot at this course. 🤔👏
Not happy with paying another 25 dollars person
I am used to paying online with golf now and not paying anything at corse I'm on ss the extra 50 dollars on top of the 81 put me in a bind
Diabolical short course
Really challenging course first time you play it. Definitely not a “Grab your driver and tee it up” type of course. Even the par 3s require thought and careful evaluation of how overhanging branches will affect your shots (watch out for hole 3).
A lot of fun. I will play it again.
Rustic course
Course is rustic Tahoe - not a lot of choices though in South Shore Tahoe. Will make the drive to Genoa next time. Edgewater out of my price range.
Challenging
Playable but challenging narrow pine tree lined fairways. Makes you think through your club selection.
I enjoyed it thoroughly!
Very Tight
Course is very narrow. Not favorable to mishits. Overall in good shape. Greens are very tricky. Need to play more than once to score better. Friendly Staff of 1 who do it all. I will play again when in Tahoe.
Challenging 18 holes for a shorter course
Shorter course. Beautiful
Course is in great shape.
Well worth the price.
