Tahoe Paradise Golf Course

About
Situated within the woodlands of the Sierra Nevada Mountains, Tahoe Paradise Golf Course has a hilly landscape covered with towering pines. This short, tight golf course is filled with challenges including tight, narrow fairways and smooth, fast greens. The fairways are also lined with trees and thick cuts of rough and some of there is an occasional sloped green. Tahoe Paradise Golf Course's par-4 holes are said to have severe dogleg fairways and water hazards come into play on two holes. The picturesque scenery provides a relaxing break from the challenges of the golf course. One of the most scenic holes is the par-3 14th with a spectacular view of Mt. Tallac and the surrounding peaks.

Nice Course
The pro shop staff was friendly and great. We showed up 30 minutes ahead of our tee time. we were asked if we would like to go out early which we accepted.Check in was a breeze. Course was in great shape except for the tee boxes, expected with many rounds.. Fantastic views. Course marshalls were very friendly.
would go back again.
Tahoe Course
Nice course to play. Only had limited time and got out early. Finished my round in 3.5 hours. You have to manage your shots on the course since the holes aren't long.
Gas golf cart he’d head ache from the fumes almos got hit twice from other golfer on tight parallel course
Would not go back
Overpriced for what you get
No woo easy to get tee time
Great place to play in Tahoe!
This was my first time playing golf in Tahoe! The altitude definitely adds some distance to your clubs, so have your numbers dialed in and add some yards when you get there! Very friendly staff in the clubhouse! Pace of play was a little slow due to the shorter distances on the holes, but everyone around the course was very friendly and patient! Overall a very pleasant experience!
Fun Course
Tahoe Paradise was a fun course with challenging holes and requires precise shots. Don’t try to overpower this one. Just hit hybrids and irons off the tee on most holes. Course was in pretty good shape. A little pricey for an executive type course but you’re playing in Tahoe.
Not worth 85 dollars
Unfortunately the worst course I’ve ever played, but I played on a Monday in Tahoe, so why am I complaining? It’s a hard hat course.
A Gem
Don’t let the view from the street to influence you away from this unique course. Challenging and makes you laugh at times but will be an experience you will love! Great staff and a great time for all!!
Tight
A fun little tight course with good views.
Golf Now is deceiving
I am in the process of using up credit from a previous cancellation. The “Hot Deal” at Paradise Tahoe was $44, which is reasonable, but not that hot of a deal and turned out to be a terrible deal when we arrived at the course and found only 14 of the 18 holes open for play. No fault of the course, but rather failure of Golf Now to stay current on what they are offering.
I find in all cases that it is just way better to make tee times directly with the course. There is absolutely no advantage to using Golf Now.
Really enjoyed my round, but 4 holes were closed. Wish that would have been communicated up front. Will come back when all 18 are open.
Short course but very challenging and beautiful
The yardages are deceiving. Lots of tight areas to shoot for between the trees. Pin placements were very challenging and so were the greens. Some false fronts and not many flat greens.
Be prepared to lose a few balls!
Buyer beware
Showed up for my “Tee Off.com” deal rate and hadn’t noticed the missing cart icon on line sign up. Was charged $40 for an obnoxiously loud, poor running exhaust reeking gas cart. This course is probably ok for walking but I think I’d go down the road a mile to the SLT GC for the same amount or within $5 for a decent round of golf.
Great value to wslk
Course in the best shape ever.Greens in great shape and course is a good challenge of golf.
Friendly little course
Course was shorte than most. The weather was very hot, but this course offered plenty of shade and light breezes. The 3.5 hour round was just right for this hot day.
A Nice Treat of a Golf Course
My wife and I enjoyed this short distance course. On a really hot weekday, this course offed shade, light breezes and nice scenery. Most players were couples or twosomes. A round took us 3.5 hours. It was a nice pace . Most.Par 4’s we’re 220 to 360 yards. Greens were challenging. When putting downhill, ball could roll of the green. Staff and other players were very friendly.. It was like playing on a family-friendly course. No one took themselves too seriously. For my wife, the holes were a good distance for her. For me, accuracy, not distance, was more important. We will surely be back next year during our annual visit to the area.
Hi, Drew1992. We appreciate you taking the time to review the course and rate us. Your feedback helps us do better. Thank you for visiting Tahoe Paradise Golf Course. We hope you'll give us another try in the future.
I’m confused by your review. You’re upset because YOU misread the deal online?
I’ve done the same deal before and it’s $24-$38 for the walking rate deal around 11:30am. It’s $20/person to rent a cart at the course. So at most, you paid ~$60 for riding 18 holes. Which is less than the $80 they normally charge.
To play down the street at Lake Tahoe Golf Course is $105 for riding 18 holes…
Aside from the older gas carts, what are you complaining about?
