About
The Club at Savannah Harbor is steeped in Southern charm, offering dramatic views that span from the surrounding wetlands of the Back River to Savannah's famous Historic District. Sam Snead and Bob Cupp designed the golf course. Their ultimate goal was to bring to life the philosophy of "risk and reward." For example, a well executed shot placed near a hazard is rewarded with less club to the green or a better approach angle, or even both. The putting surfaces have gentle transitions to different pin locations, making them more traditional than modern. The designers incorporated another classic design element, the greens have subtle roll-offs or collars that fall away, a feature of golf courses from the 1930s and 40s. Golfers can also use the club's large, duel-ended practice facility.

One person made it NOT 5 star
Course was in good condition, especially for how hot it was. Greens are firm, fairways kept up, rough was well rough. Definitely designed to keep it in the fairway. My only complaint was the rudeness of the gentleman putting bags on carts. We were 3 singles who all purchased the teetime on GolfNow and the starter refused to let us each have a cart and was very rude in his telling us so. I don’t mind playing with randoms, in fact I enjoy it. But to force me to sit in a cart with one for 4 hours, and not even be polite about it was ridiculous. If I hadn’t gotten such a good deal on the course, I would have said something to the manager. The women in the pro shop was excellent and the bartender was friendly enough, but this guy was downright rude and that is not except-able.

Club at Savannah Harbor
This course is the best course I have ever played. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. The course is in excellent condition. It is challenging but at the same time it is a course where you can score well. The greens are huge and roll true, the same as the practice green. The driving range is also in excellent condition.

Very nice golf course
Enjoyed our round at The Club at Savannah Harbor. Overall a very nice course. The greens were extremely firm and tough to hold but just had to adjust to them. Overall the course was in great shape and I would play here again!

Nice Course
The staff was great and super friendly. The course was in good shape. Pretty simple layout, but it did have some really long holes. Overall for the price I paid on Golf Now ($40), I would play it again.

Savannah Harbor looking good
I moved from Savannah a few years ago. Savannah Harbor was always through of as an excellent place to play when I lived in the area. After losing the greens, last year, I was a little worried about the course. I have played here for many tournaments and events, and have always been a fan of the layout. My fears were set aside immediately upon teeing off. The fairways were immaculate. The tee boxes in great shape, especially considering the current heat wave in Savannah. The greens were slow, but still receptive.
The staff at Savannah Harbor has long been great. It was wonderful to get a chance to play the course, again.

Excellent golf course
Very enjoyable round. Course has generous fairways so any mid handicap golfer will have a great time. The greens were slower than expected and less pristine compared to the rest of the course conditions. We played a couple different local courses and this was our favorite and decided if we come back to the area we will spend our time here. Would earn more stars had the greens been a little better

Great course
Greens are in great shape. Price is good for a hot summer day. Highly recommend. Bring your own water if you’re staying at the hotel. They provide only two in bucket. Not sure if it’s because of summertime-but cart service was not all day and sometimes not provided. Course amenities outside of spa and gym is not that great ( not much food selection)

Wonderful course……..Water please
5th or 6th time playing Savannah Harbor and always enjoy the layout. Fairways and greens were in excellent shape and the staff was cordial. Greens were a little slow but a staff member explained that they were redone last year and they were being protective by not cutting them down. Only gripe was, there was only one operating water cooler on the course and no beverage cart. 96 degrees and no water is a recipe for a bad outcome. Love the golf course and a great bargain on golf now.will return.
