Hiddenbrooke Golf Club

This is a challenging course for all skills of golfers. There are plenty of sand bunkers and water hazards. Finding the fairways is the key.

Our foursome played Hiddenbrook yesterday, November 30th and we had a great experience. The greens were very good. The tees were in poor shape and need to be seeded badly. Weather was cold at 8:20am but warmed up after 4 holes.

The fairways were good and pace of play was outstanding. This is a fantastic layout with many memorable, challenging holes. I loved the rate and I will be back soon.

Several brown areas in the fairways and on the tee boxes. Greens in good shape. Pace of play was very good until the 15th hole, then it slowed to a crawl.

There was a possibility of rain but it didn’t happen. Only saw one other twosome during our round, so it was like playing our own private course. Can’t wait to get back to Hiddenbrooke.

I love this course, if not of the slow play and no Marshall services, I would definitely give them a 5*, Great layout, challenging, I love the natural habitats, well maintained golf course!

This is a challenging course. There are very few flat lies and you do have to pick a target when playing off the tee. Course views and layout are very nice and you never feel like you are playing a course that winds through multiple neighborhoods.

Conditions were good, greens were in good shops. The tee boxes were a sandy and could use some work. Overall the course was good.

The only complaints were pace of play and the carts. Had a mid-morning tee time and it took 5.5 hours to work through the course. I attribute this mostly to the course being challenging. However, when you are backed up on the 2nd hole you know that there are people hitting multiple off the tee on each hole. Marshal those who are not keeping pace, please.

Carts seats were all broken on the ends and most had balled to corded tires. For the price, and safety at a minimum the cart tires need to be replaced more often.

Coming from SF, there are plenty of better options. Really great team but the carts are not well kept and their grounds meet that mark.

Overall a fun course to play, layout is varied well with elevation and dog legs.

The greens need a lot of work, disease, patches, too much sand, and golfers to fix their marks. I beg you to fix your ball marks, it’s really easy and makes play for everyone that much better

We had a mid day tee time. The weather was perfect and the course was in great shape, as usual. By the second hole, it started backing up and stayed that way for the rest of the round. Hopefully, this isn’t the new normal. There are courses that we won’t play because it takes too long, so hopefully this will not be the case with Hiddenbrooke.

We played Saturday morning, 10 am tee. We got to the 9th tee just before 1 pm. Slowest play I’ve ever seen. Greens were in awful shape. We were on pace for a 7+ hr round because they had no marshal out there and the clubhouse line was not taking calls. 0/10. Will not recommend. Will not play here again. I’ve seen better golf at a putt putt palace.
